nice movie .. really diff .. didn't stay for the end credits but wiki stated that it's just static and a soundclip at the end

LOUSY! no wonder they dun wanna tell da plot at all..... of coz lar.. who wanna watch anyway if not bcoz of curiosity....
at a lot of absurd things like:
1) Beth was stab terribly on her chest... all the fren can pull of her from da thing... And she can survived da whole night, running quite far without even bleeding

2) Hud was not running at all when he was under da monster... instead he film da monster.. somemore after he died, da fren drag him without being harm by da monster...

3) Usually under catastrophic, a police wont let a civillian wander around da town, but tiz police let him go...

Da bad things bout tiz movie ARE!!!!!
1) no story describing bout da beginning of monster
2) NO AFTERMATH!!!!! (a.k.a no ending)
3) poor graphic, better learn from korean movie d-wars!!
4) stupid running ere n there wit camera, at least increase da quality and stability
5) no songs.... please dun say OST of tiz movie will be released
6) try to make a romantic movie, but is not romantic at all

I only agree with you on number 1 and 3 (the first number 1 and 3, you have two lol). The other points that you mentioned are probably the same reasons why other Malaysians would say this movie sucked.

...the same reasons why the average Malaysian moviegoers are mindless lemmings who're only interested in the usual run-off-the-mill action movies. Pfft.

Allow me to explain why I said what I said.

2) When you are UNDER a HUEG monster, you'd be shitting bricks. Granted the average person might not even think about filming the monster, but hey, if you consider that Hud had been doing that for pretty much the whole night, you can't blame em. But agree with what you said on how Rob and Beth could get to him after Hud was chomped on.

1) No story describing the origin of the monster? Hello, obviously you didn't get the whole idea of the movie. The movie is about a VIDEO that was found at Central Park. The video was recorded by Hud (well, most of the time anyway). So how the heck would you (as Hud) know where the monster came from? See what I mean by the average Malaysian moviegoer not being able to understand unique concepts?

2) See number 1 above lol.

3) I thought the graphics were ok. The head of the Statue of Liberty looked a little fake though. >_>

4) Try filming a video while running and see if you can get steady shots lol.

5) Of course there are no songs (except for the begininng at the party lo). What, you have background music playing everywhere you go? O_o

6) Partially agree with you on this one. It's not supposed to be a romantic movie, but they had to throw something in for the ladies lol. (Ok I'm kidding. Don't go calling me sexist now >_>)

All in all, I'd say the movie, while not perfect, is still a good watch. As for all you people complaining of motion sickness....WHAT LAAA, SO WEAK MEH...

Oh yeah... why the monster eat Hud and not Rob and Beth? Seriously not logic... should have eat Rob and Beth and that would make a good ending instead we get to see Rob filming himself and telling his name in front of the camera and start saying 'I Love You' crap...

Here's an idea they could have used.

Start with a giant monster destroying the city then it was nuked but killing everyone in the city too.

aftermath. Find out where it came from and recover from the disaster & horror of it.

Then hit them again with another giant monster.

Tahan for more than 7 hours is one thing... drop don't know how many times the lens don't crack... helicopter crash with camera inside also still okay... the ending what happen to the camera still hebat...

well all i can says is whole new experience with this move (using cam recorder), i really like the attacking part , tunnel when on the night vision and some camera angle viewing the monster.

i do recommended for this movie compare AVP 2
