A political/conspiracy thriller they used to make in the late 90's or early 00's. The casting caught my eyes with Alicia Vikander and Vicky Krieps. Still not convinced John David Washington is the next superstar in the making. He just doesn't have the weight to carry the entire movie just like Tenet. Not saying he is unwatchable just missing that special "sauce" to be great like his father. It's an ok watch and not by any means terrible.
This is the introduction of Vesemir, the 2nd most important Witcher character in the books. He is the mentor of Geralt and father figure to Ciri. Like the show itself, this has a pacing issue with character development and a rather disappointing antagonist. Fans of the series will definitely intrigue with the backstory and witcher lores. As a stand alone feature, it's not a standout to garner more interest. Very standard sword and sorcery material

Finally watched Kingdom Ashin of the North. Holy shit this is so damn good.
I was worried they would just find a lame way to continue the story because the ending to S2 was perfect. But this special episode is basically the villain origin story that not only introduce alot of new stuff, it also ties cleverly into the series. I'm now on board for queen Ashin!!!
So the Hollywood version is coming. This is one of the best film that came out in 2018. I can guarantee it's the most intense thriller you can watch. Don't be fooled by the minimal cast and everything happens in the course of one night and one location. The script and editing deserve a chef's kiss. If you don't want to wait, hunt down the original cause it's the best kind of movie not getting enough love.

I use NordVPN... only a few VPNs can bypass the netflix country filter... and NordVPN is one of them... I got it for like rm400 for the 2-year plan... But can put on 5 devices, so i'm sharing with my friends..
They have other titles on every country, sometimes i switch to singapore or the US... cant recommend any title cuz for me, i watch netflix just to pass time only, dont have a favorite... but if u ask me, I like documentary shows and big bang theory which already available in Malaysia lol... I'm not a movie geek, so cant really tell..
I use IPVanish then switch to Express VPN, Kinda trying different types but what would you recommend?
