if you think the eq presets on the gummy sucks you should give a listen to the BBE on the Cube. It BLOWS the gummy out of the water!

anything for less than rm150? i dont mind the storage size(2GB min), but a player with additional memory slot is really great.

Main purpose :

Player Criteria
- screen size 7" and above, touchscreen or not touch also ok
- able to support 720p HD and above files
- file format, the more the better, especially mkv, mp4 and avi
- Memory size 8GB or higher, can upgrade thru TF or other type card slot
- Built-in rechargeable battery, if can live >3 hours for movies
- Audio Out
- Can connect to projector thru vga/dvi/hdmi? Optional here but would help a lot!
- good fps, framerate that eye can see, prolly >25fps?

I have few models in mind, someone who has the same experience can advise what and which to get?

+1 on that. The preset EQ, even the user EQ sucks a lot. Instead of boosting the said frequency, it just decrease the others. At least that's the feel that I get. Pretty much can't be used. BBE on the other hand, 

p/s: I'm assuming that the preset & custom EQ on gumstick and on C30 is the same. If not, then I've no idea how well EQ on gumstick sounds. Never used it before. Also, if my assumption is correct, thank god for making me gave up the gumstick. Also thanks to beederbest for the bulk and intro to C30.

To be honest the Gumstick is more fun to listen to, while not deviate too much from reality so it still is natural.

I have compared the Gumstick and Fuze+.
Since Clip+ is basically a Fuze+ without a screen, and the C30 sounds exactly the same as the Gumstick(without BBE), it would be quite fair.

i see u selling ur gumstick there at ur signature. 

Basically, you're saying:

Gumstick > Fuze+
Gumstick = C30
Fuze+ = Clip+
Therefore, C30 > Clip+

Did I get it right? Cuz I find your last sentence rather confusing as to which player Gumstick is more fun to.

PMP doesnt do much difference. the quality of your headphones and the bitrate of your songs matter the most. at least thats how i feel.

I havent heard either c30 and clip+ but from my exp on gumstick (same housing as c30) you can hardly see the display when youre out under the sun. with clip+ you can rockbox so you can do many more features with it

So please recommend me!!!!!!
Oh, and I don't care much about memory card slots, I don't think I'll need them... or do i...?

Beg, borrow or steal another RM20 so as to make it RM170 and get a Cube C30. You won't regret it.
