The RM79 SIM only option they introduced recently is bad move. Without limiting the number accounts per area, somehow they will introduce some sort of throttling in the long run if things get out of hand like secretly limiting users speed with a non mentioned quota hidden as fair usage policy or some sort.

It might not happen now while it's still new but within 2 years anything can happen.

Some of us who experienced wireless solutions such as from DiGi & UMobile will know what i mean.

Unifi Air is TM solution for un-fiber streamix user as request by minister Gobin
30MHz of band 40 + 20MHz of band 38 should be good for 2 year.

Just installed Unifi Air at my parent's house. Been using Streamyx 2Mbps since forever and got the call from them to upgrade. They sent the Huawei modem straight to my house. Hopefully no throttling. The lowest I get so far from the speedtest is around 25Mbps. This is the highest

Check which band you get..

If you get band 40..it should be okay..

Sometimes band 5 can get a good speed also

My area only got band 5, tested with 65D + bebas, average speed about 1.5mbps

Capped speed at 3mbps and no quota which is much faster than unifi mobile using band 5 at my area.

I’ve been regularly checking the box of surprise in my digi app each month but I still don’t see it listed.
How did you get yours? I’m using digi infinity

Is ur house area fall into the coverage map? .

just forget abt that coverage map
l brought mine to my fren's house which doesn't show coverage at all on that map, still it ran with full line but the speed not stable, going up and down just like at my area, sometimes full, but mostly around <=1/2+ or even below 1/4......
the weirdest part is the upload speed seems higher than download frequently......

alternative way, just get urself a unifi air's sim, and get a 4g router frm other place
tis way u wont have to tie down for 2 years with sim locked router, and ur device is free to use with any telco in the market as long as the bands used are compatible
