done with the film. Watchable.. predictable plot. Long running movie, 2hr 8 min fill with fighting scene (but i m not sure if the real police fight like MMA style), car chases scene, explosive scene.
good old HK movie style but the copy i watch was on a compressed audio version (switchable between mandarin vs cantonese)..
Gonna wait for Dolby TrueHD/Atmos i think i will then appreciate the audioThis movies reminds me of Jackie Chan's version New Police Story where they experience the betrayal from high ranking police son (played by Daniel Wu) in this case.. they experience betrayal from Nicholas Tse.
Yes, real Atmos will be superb!
Raging Fire - good, had not had something like that in a long time! 4/5.
while the plot isn't exceptional, Tse is getting better and better as he gets older; donnie yen still very fit!
this film has many old timers, good to see them again - ray lui, simon yam, patrick tam, etc.
most interesting is the last 30 min or so - almost like a remake of the Al Pacino-Robert De niro faceoff in HEAT 1995.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDElEpdJcn0and donnie yen gets to do the SPL fight with Wu Jing again, this time with Tse!
