the original bluray is in 2160p HDR10+, Dolby Vision.... dd atmos, ddtrueHD.
think the dtshdma audio is a reprocessed or "fake" one!

i have listened to both audio types - DDtrueHD is the winner here.

many hints there will be sequel(s) or prequel(s).
e.g., at the end, they already showed Edward Norton as Nova - he will appear in the sequel for sure!

about halfway thru the "extras"... wonderful stuff... how they make, the training, the CGI... $200 mil to make, grossed $404 mil.
they already have the storyboards/stills for "before the fall". i.e. the world where Alita came from xxx years ago.
so, prequel also possible.

hellboy 2019.... waste of time.

a soulless, not funny half horror film for bored teenagers.

david harbour (hopper in stranger things) and mila jovovich couldn't make it good.

people will only remember del toro's 2 hellboys with ron perlman and the late john hurt.

To get the Atmos experience, you need the hardware (ceiling speakers + AVR).

If you don't have the hardware you can still play the Atmos soundtrack.
Your AVR can still play it, you just won't get the ceiling sound effects.

So far in my experience, horror movies like Conjuring 2 makes use of the ceiling sound effects really well

It is not too bad.

Korsub but my AVR detected 5.1 sound.

2.5/5 - boring movie unlike the previous franchises.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters... is poor!

all that visual effects, monster fights.... can't make up for a poor narrative, and a bad script.

costs $200mil, grossed 385mil. 2/5.

rocketman... is a biographical musical movie about the life of elton john.

unlike bohemian rhapsody where real queen music was used, this one has taron egerton (eggsy of kingsman) singing the songs.

pretty much the truth about his life, incl his gay part.

if u like his music, it is quite an entertaining movie.... incl a glimpse into and what "goodbye yellow brick road", "your song" and "rocketman" were really about. 3/5.

How about "The Fifth Element" from the same director? Looks good comment everywhere but I can't recall I've watched it or not, lol...

lol, year 1997 film i only recognizes Titanic, but never watched it properly from start till ending. You understand young kid won't be able to sit and well behaved for 3 hours plus right?
