retail transaction is not retail shops

retail transactions are transactions that you spend/pay with the card

topping up ewallet is spending.


non-retail transactions are transactions generated by the system such as balance transfer, sst, annual fee, etc.

normally banks dont list out the participating merchants in detail.

usually no; and adding card will get SST as usual. wont get rebate for year 1 since it's a new card. Once reaches year 2, can request for rebate.
