nope I spent on retail, dining and hospital. I think petrol should be fine as long as you spent RM800 within 60 days. You should call public bank customer support to check

Why not you give a call to CS to ask why it's so late?

The last day of week 7 falls on 1 mac, so as per tnc, it will be credited to u 2-4 weeks after end of tracking month. So the can credit it to u by end of april if they want to.

If there are ppl willing to answer my question, then why I need to call cs, just like the person after u has answered me, pbe could as late as credit the cash back at end of April.

no fixed pattern, because it's not fully automated. somehow, someone will need to process the eligibility list.

this is why there will be no definite answer to "when will the cashback credited" line of questions.

since all banks (especially those internal depts) are enforcing BCP/WFH, delay is expected.

early crediting is a bonus, late crediting at this times is understandable.

Banking is essential and they need to go to work everyday le. They can't bring documents and data out from bank premises.

Even though banking industry is essential industry, but you need to understand what services are critical for the banking industry and ultimately your banking experience.

Ensuring that all debit/debit accounts are still in operation and transactions are up-to-date with 100% accuracy.
Ensuring inward & outward, local & international remittance are still function regardless it is done online, OTC or SSK.
Ensuring that all credit cards operation are not down.
Ensuring that all ATMs have sufficient cash to spit out for.
Ensuring SSK machines are not down.

The above are essential services; not processing your RM 40 cash back (somemore it's campaign/contest which require manual validation and approval).

Not all the banking services are essential.
IMO works on the campaign CB shall be suspended till MCO is over (don't know when, unlikely will be ended on 31/3).

cannot bring documents/data out doesnt mean cannot work from home securely. there are ways to safeguard the employees and company data via private VPN, etc etc

marketing-related work definitely NON-ESSENTIAL. the banking and nation can still operate without your RM40 cashback.

it's up to the bank's discretion whether to work on marketing-related activities. good for them if they do.


our spending data doesnt change. their campaign T&C doesnt change (unlikely to happen since it'll end in Apr).

the only variable is their PRIORITY to ensure banking network runs, for ours and nation's sake. they still can work on the cashback after MCO ends.
