usually split billing is by merchant's POS terminal. 1 big amount, but split to small amount. some F&B POS can do that, some dont, some merchants even specifically reminds you "not allowed split billing".

unless you can "tell" BP to split one big RM640 amount into 8x chunks of RM80 --- ie reload RM640 one-time, but bigpay split to 8x chunks -- which you cant.

with BP, you are essentially making 8 separate transactions of RM80 each, whereby each transaction is unique.

seasoned users here would know the difference when participating PBB cashback campaigns for years now.

how are you gonna ask the merchant to 'split' the transaction then?

if i go Sushi Zanmai, then i ask to split the bill to 8 bills of rm80 each, then i pay rm80 x 8 = this is split transaction?

coz if up there if split transaction, then i see why 8x bp is not split also, but if the above example is seperate transaction, then how someone can perform a 'split' transaction?

you pay at supermarket, 1 trolley of groceries, ask the cashier to split into 3 bills, say for 3 families
using 3 different PBB cards i think qualified

if use same PBB card - likely disqualify, unless time interval is long, ?30mins
how about  go pay at 3 different  cashier counters..all using same PBB card.
You pay bills online also can  split into 3 separate payments,
