The requirement to spend at least RM100 per transaction and the monthly cap at RM20 greatly reduce its appeal.

monthly cap still ok.
but >RM100 per transaction to be eligible for cb make it pretty useless card not suitable for day to day usage, except for bigger amount trx.

so i am using Affin Duo+ mostly, 3% cb for wave trx any amount below RM250.
and i keep Quantum for trx >RM250 only/
only useful for bigger amount trx, eg i buy some furniture RM1000

Did PBB change their policy on SST rebate? Just called in to request for my visa signature. The CS asked me to spend RM500 accumulated in two months and call in again to request. Not difficult to achieve that, but this is the first time I don’t get immediate rebate after so many years. I actively use the cards btw.

Some gives instant rebte, some say no more, some ask you to spend a certain amount. We wont know until everyone reports a consistent answer

How much you spent in the past 1 year? Less than RM8000?

Much more than that for sure. That’s why I’m bit puzzled. Maybe different CS different style.

She did reconfirm if I am asking the same SST rebate like I did last year. And then she said PBB no longer offers this but provides two option. One is use point to offset. Another is to spend RM500 accumulated in two months then call in (excluding some type of transactions like insurance iirc).

I just requested them to absorb the SST two weeks ago. No questions asked, straight waived the SST. Actually only called for the Signature as the Quantum didnt show the SST yet but they even went ahead and absorbed the SST for all cards. Signature well above 8k p.a. Quantum not much anymore maybe 5k since the benefits are meh.

How long more before the SST date for the Quantum card?

Interesting, usually they asked if I have other cards to do too. Next time I will try say do for other cards as well.

The due date is only 1 week apart. When I called not yet charged the SST. But was absorbed right away with the charge.

ya can try this but bear in mind that the 2nd cs will have the record of what's the previous discussion with the 1st cs. so need to make sure the story is aligned.

Cash back for Visa Signature is only 3% now.
Any better card to replace it?
