for PBB Quantum Visa - online transaction cash back, does it apply to my monthly auto credit insurance payment?

but I guess its still the same for master? not applicable to any autodebit?

Does paying with Samsung Pay + Quantum Visa counts as contactless transaction and eligible for cashback?

Also for those who registered the cards through ringgitplus for the free xiaomi scale and band. When they say spend RM250 within 60 days, does it it mean in one transaction or all transactions add up together to 250? And once it hit the criteria, they will automatically send the gifts?

anyone here have issues paying with Samsung Pay + Quantum Visa?

Everytime I try to tap on the wireless white terminal, it keeps showing Error on the terminal BUT on my samsung pay it says the transaction already successful. Of coz the merchant is trusting their terminal, so in the end I have to tap using my physical card and the terminal finally able to accept.

when i check my statement, I can see multiple transaction with same amount and same merchant, but in the end only 1 of the transaction is posted, the rest is unposted.

I called PBB card service about this, they say they are unable to remove the unposted transaction for me. I have to deal with the merchant, if the merchant didnt proceed with the unposted transaction then it will be cancelled in 15 days, if they do then i have to contact them to reverse it


already same experience with 2 different merchant both using a similar terminal, wireless and white colour

Seriously have to get card replacement? Any particular reason why some cards cant work well with samsung pay?

anyone here encountering their Quantum Master Card failing for online transaction?

Tried with hotlink app, and also foodpanda app. After entering TAC and confirm, it will say transaction failed

update on my case here.

apparently yesterday when I tried paying on foodpanda with QM, it says the transaction failed but it actually went through!

I only found this out when I make a call to PBB CS just now to check. I check back on my statement on app and sure enough there is an unposted transaction from yesterday

also just now I tried again using food panda, same case transaction failed on app but CS told me it actually went through on their side CS cant and refuse to do anything on their side because to them the transaction went through without issue and tell me to go settle with foodpanda

both cases I end up paying using direct online banking. Hopefully foodpanda dont double charge me on my card because its still unposted.

The hotlink app is still a mystery because there's no transaction according to CS


anyone have issues with foodpanda as well?

just saw the updated tc..... guess my cashback from my last statement is the last....

PBB Master really got nerfed a lot since the new TnC came into play.... no more ewallet reloads and only >RM30 online spent eligible for cashback....

considering to supplement with UOB yolo now. I have Maybank AMEX as well but with weekend limitation...

Bummer. Seems like more and more limitations for cashback cards nowadays....

Did you top up for grab pay as well within the same period?

I will wait for my statement in the next 2 weeks to see whether cashback still applicable for grabpay top up

Based on my cashback amount, does it mean the ewallet and RM30 minimum spent is not in effect yet?

so I check my detailed statement today trying to work out the cashback amount...

Statement amount = 711.20

711.20 - 250 (Great Eastern auto debit) = 461.20



eligible amount for cashback is 431.20



may I know which of the RM30 spent was not eligible? TNG, Zus or Maxis Pay?

nope its not. that's my hotlink prepaid top up.

actually I'm pretty sure that is eligible for cashback

the only suspect is between Zus and TNG. Probably is TNG i feel

i know this discussion will be invalid soon once the new cashback ruling is in effect... but why Grab, Shopee saved card got cashback but TNG dont have?

Received my statement today. Ewallet transactions for April (mainly Grab for me) still receiving cashback for Quantum MC

pretty sure its included. i have made several reloads into Grab after 16. Otherwise my spent amount won't reach RM600 and I wont be receiving full RM30 cashbacxk



can do your own calculation and help me verify as well. exclude the Great Eastern autocredit on 30th March. My billing date is 26th of every month
