I created PIN for my new card via phone call and want to add the card to my PBe. I followed the steps at page 1 and when it comes to request for PAC, I get the error message:

Error Code : (E0001.2B.5345632801)
Your request could not be executed.
You have not registered your mobile phone number to receive PAC via SMS.
Please register your mobile phone number at any Public Bank branches.


Any idea how to solve? I am a current user with existing PB cards, so my mobile no is already there.

Probably have to go to bank branch to reset the PAC setting It happen to me before.

mobile for pac is tied at pbe profile.

mobile for tac is at card profile.


not sure if there is easier way. try register mobile number from ATM?

last I tried, I went to branch to register the PAC mobile because only they can do pbe maintenance there.

add: Just called CS, apparently my mobile phone no was never registered for PAC. All previous cards were auto-linked. So now why can't auo-linked too? hmm.gif Then what for I went to the branch previously when I opened my SA doh.gif

Maybe the card centre didn't key in the phone number for PAC.
Go to a PB branch, CS officer need your I/C, Thumbprint and phone to reset, your phone number will be updated immediately.
If you write in or call up to add the phone number, you need to wait for 1 month due to security reason.
(My experience 3 years ago, but it may be different now)

want to ask the installment plan payment using credit card at shopee and lazada, its stated 0 interest or deposit. i saw the selling price is rm1399 for full payment, and also total rm1399 for 6 months or 12 mths installment.
is it really no any charges on this plan? worth to try?

Yes no hidden charges, but if you choose to pay in installment you cant apply voucher.

Or you can use pb quatumn cards to pay then call pbb to convert to 0% 12months

Got charged SST on VI, WMC and VS, request for SST rebate and said need to spend RM500 within 2 months on retail purchases, no Bigpay ya...

yes, 60 days and need to call back, but weird thing is he added no Bigpay behind... even the RM38 CB for VS also qualified as online retail transaction but dunno why he said no Bigpay...

My latest experience in August, both my VS principal and supp received cash rebate for SST in the next 1-2 days after calling CS without any conditions. The usual "subject to management's approval" was also quoted. New approach now? hmm.gif

Saw this post, checked on mine yay. Got RM25 SST rebate for both the Quantum.

PBB is definitely the best choice at the moment, best cashback rewards so far.

there are 2 scenarios: nonconditional and conditional

my cards all given rebates without any condition

i'm aware of the limit. i got the info from cs.

since there was/is no b&w, it can only be loosely referenced and not used as official info from the bank (even it came from their own cs) until b&w is published to the public.
