According to me previous experience, I get all campaigns cashback, hehehe 

But this round the spending criteria are the same, hopefully the system can help me choose the best for each campaign lar

is the public bank petron debit card mechanism similar to big pay which you need to store some value inside in order to use ? It is not a ATM-debit card which link to Public Bank saving account , if kena hack only lost the reloaded amount saja?

Called CS about the cashback limit issue & after checking with his senior, he told me that this is due to my statement which falls on 1st of the month therefore the cashback limit will follow the new T&C.

Told him that "friends" were told that PBB is aware of this issue & will rectify the missing cashback & the CS was surprised.

In the end, he said he'll appeal to the mgmt for me. Sigh.

no such thing as 1 Oct hence new cap.

as our transaction is conducted in Sept BEFORE the effective date of new T&C, hence the cb %, category and max cap all shall follow the previous t&c.

unless transaction after 1st Oct.

I try to cancel the Credit card, but it appears the reason for it only
"Lost" / "Stolen" / "Fraud"

I think still need to call and cancel the card

The link only can cancel atm card permanently, for credit/debit card temporarily deactivate only.

Dont think can re-activate thru the portal, actually the popup is asking you to call the number behind your card for fraud/scam/stolen cases etc after deactivation.

So I personally think that this portal is only to let you deactivate your card asap while waiting customer support to pickup your call. It is just an initiative like what !@#$%^ mentioned before to counter the recent rise of the fraud cases.

If you have public bank online a/c, I believe there's an option for ''çancel card''. I haven't tried it yet though, but will soon.

I applied PIB Visa Platinum but my application got 'stuck' coz the bank ask for more info, more documents even though I am a long time customer and own the 2 Quantum cards.

Now, I'm thinking of not proceeding with the application, thinking of closing all my PBB a/cs. Somehow I like CIMB e-card better, especially combined with a card that offers lounge access.
