if their cb follows calendar month, then no confusion, cutoff ngamngam 1 Oct, irrespective to statement cycles.

1) if sst > statement, clear off statement balance then call cs to cancel card. sst should be canceled.

2) if sst < statement, call to get sst rebates. wait for statement, clear off, then cancel card.

sst is cycle-forward charging

if you dont intend to use after renewal, SST should be reversed/canceled.

iinm, some banks/FI like Aeon refuse to reverse the SST due to card cancellation.

CS said it was submitted on 11 Oct, although I disputed it 2 times (latest 8 Oct)

nonetheless, can happily chop the quantum cards after settle statement balance.
