checked PBe, no authorized amount floating. Have stopped using this card since early Oct anyway (fulfilled cb spending).

called CS, they said their system blocked a txn attempt yesterday from an online merchant (messy suspicious name, i didnt bother to know )

I reconfirmed card was not used and was with me physically. unlikely to be a genuine txn.

CS proposed to replace the card, FOC. i gladly acccepted it.


checked my txn history, no historical txn at ipay88-merchants. most likely this is the usual fraud attempt.

not sure how atome do the charging... whether configured as recurring or standalone charge for each installment.

but their mcc is 5999: MISCELLANEOUS AND SPECIALTY RETAIL STORES
