When I check with Alloy Kitchen, it is about 450-550 per feet run. Not cheap but if you find less known or smaller outfit it might be cheaper.

You can try other brand from taobao, basically you need to look for SUS304, nano coated sink, usually is black or grey, get the grey one better and won't look dirty easily, 3mm thickness, more than 19cm depth, get undermount type of sink if possible

Yup, will get SUS304 grey and going to do undermount with anti freezing coat and better soundproof. Some of these comes with accessories like chopping board n cup washer.

Couple of questions:

1. For those who have installed built-in dish racks (usually installed above the sink as part of top cabinets), how has this worked out? Any experience of water damage to the cabinet sides or base? What about practicality of having the dishes and utensils in that location? Any advantage over conventional dish rack placed on the counter top? Is this something you would recommend?

2. Anyone used carcass from Block Board? Price is about 25% higher than the standard melamine. Is it a a better choice?

Accessories is depends on what you need, you can always get it separately in the future, most of the sink in local is overpriced because they import from China

Dear all, for a quartz table top that's about 12' long, will there be a seam where they join 2 pieces of quartz slabs?

Or is it possible to have one complete slab for this size?

Yup, there will be a seam but usually the contractor will try to join the 2 pieces at an inconspicuous place (maybe at the hob, sink, etc.).

As for the size, the usual brands like Silestone and Caeserstone only go up to 3.5 m. Maybe can find marble or granite if you don't want to have a seam.

I am looking for contractor that can do stainless-steel kitchen top/cabinet.

Found one company - CABE (M) Sdn Bhd. I have yet contacted them, but from their website and IG, it looks like they cater for commercial kitchen. I plan to reach them soon but in the meantime I want to have input from here as well.

Anyone has experience with contractor that can do this job? or if can give price estimation, that would be much appreciated.

from my little research, stainless steel also has different types. maybe good one wont dent easily, if not commercial kitchen wont use it because theirs is heavy duty use compare to residential kitchen

I did see some in those commercial kitchens that have dent.
It won't be obvious since it is in their kitchen and they use it every day.
However for residential,it might be an eyesore

Nothing in renovation is simple. If you go cheap then less thought can be put in as less regret later!

But if you want one that support your lifestyle and activities then you need to think hard what do you want. For my current renovation I listed down every area and every rooms requirements. Design based on those requirements.

Color of the paint, countertop material, smart switches and color of the switches, led size shape lumen, normal socket vs eubiq, total power for each area, curtain vs blind and type, water filter indoor and outdoor, garbage disposal, granite vs stainless steel sinks, taps, etc etc

If you don't want to have regrets better plan down to last details. FYI the arrangement and layout of my switches I won't let my electrician simply install 🤣
