1992! Of course lah I also much more handsome then! 🤣
You can't compare. A 10k value of money in 1992 is much more than today. Your kampung house also use concrete top which is much cheaper. It is functional but ... šŸ¤”

Until today still a lot of people using concrete top because they don’t mind the look. And concrete is really durable.

Yeah i know it’s 1992. But cabinet price has gone 4 fold when salary isn’t increasing as much. I remember debating with my mom about buying house few years back. Back in 1978 they bought a house at 45k in shah alam with household income of RM1800. But now what can you get for 450k in Shah Alam? And my household income isn’t even 18k sweat.gif

Concrete will last long after you perish! That said the good option nowadays is using 2x2 tiles as countertop with concrete structure. Some of these tiles are nice enough.

KV houses are becoming unaffordable. My one legacy to my kids are they will have a nice home and not to worry about buying a house immediately. They can drive proton if they are not capable! 🤣

A few China Chinese operate shops do that, you can customise and they will order it from China for you. Many option but.... skeptical on their workmanship when it comes to assemble them here. Don’t think they can find good skilful master to install. Been to their showroom and not very convince on their workmanship. But they do have a great deal of option, pattern, accessory and it’s very reasonably price.

Modular units, so can’t really modify. Same with signature kitchen and aino.

After extensive research on nyatoh kitchen cabinet, i found out that if you want nyatoh kitchen cabinet, you have to go to malay kitchen cabinet company. Most ā€œestablishedā€ one have plenty of experience in nyatoh kitchen cabinet and their price is quite competitive. I guess non malay doesn’t like solid wood kitchen cabinet as much as malay do.

Hi all,

I’m planning to engage Chan kitchen cabinet for my KC.

Just wondering if anyone have any experience with them. I searched in this forum but found good and bad reviews.

Wondering if anyone have any recent experience with them.

Mine is 8ft (240cm) kitchen, base only for now, because poorfag budget constraint. Ngam ngam fit a space of 241cm.

I bought Ikea Metod series, self DIY install. thumbup.gif

(0 mark)[40cm][--80cm[piping here]--][-60cm-][-60cm-](241cm end mark)

as the plumbing is for double bowl sink and plumbing ngam ngam at 80cm point, so I got the first module to be 40cm in order not to have to weaken the chassis by cutting it.

Hi, need some advice.

My kitchen area is around 18ft x 8ft . Is it possible to install a kitchen cabinet set with an island counter. Small island counter will do.

Thanks smile.gif
