Hi, please add on to this list according to your knowledge/info. This is based on my reading and talking to salesperson.

1. Material:
Door:
Nyatoh - most expensive, last many many years, not very customizable depending on your company, usually small kitchen also more than rm10k

Melamine - least expensive, many choices of design, different thickness (different pricing/quality), least durable

Carcass: many types but recommended for aluminium for under sink

2. Hinges
Germany: Blum (most expensive, longest warranty) & Hafele (1-2 year warranty, has the slim drawer option unlike Blum)

China: no specific brand, mostly 1 year warranty

3. Accessories : refer above
German-made costs up to 3x compared to China made & can take on more weight on their drawers

4. Countertop
Marble: needs regular maintenance, most expensive, your malaysian cooking ingredients will seep through the top if u dont wipe quickly, can crack at the pattern area

Quartz: many different quality, most durable, least maintenance

Granite: needs maintenance, needs to wipe quickly when things spill.

Solid surface : more suitable for dry kitchen, can create seamless design with your sink

Please also recommend your KC companies if you've had good experience with them. smile.gif

Don't ever choose Chan Kitchen Furniture. Their price is very attractive, but their work is not nice. I am very disappointed that there is some very obvious gap in the quartz top they made. You may be save some money during the renovation, but you will be regret during your stay.

Anyone knows other contractors that supply aluminum cabinet with wood grain effect like alloy kitchen?

If you're still looking for one - please be warned that I had a very bad experience with Avenue Kitchen Puchong. I suspect they even go to the extent of reporting negative reviews against their business as I noticed that my Google review that was critical of them keeps getting hidden from public view.

Hi there,

It is great to have a 4G glass panel for door, but have it ever cross your mind to use sintered stone to furnished your door? We have homeowner who opted for stone for their counter top but not the entire cabinet as to have a uniform look as there is not much of an option in the past till now.

We have sintered stone that comes with a thickness of 4mm, designed to clad on your aluminium door frame or even a full size door so to speak!

Good question! Both Dekton and Silestone are the brands under Cosentino. The fabrication and installation of Dekton Slim in Klang Valley starts from RM 50/sqft for entry price colour.

Hi all sifus,

Any suggestion of KC suppliers for combined kitchen (dry and wet)? Chinese style cooking ocassionally.

Looking at quartz/dekotop with melamine or plywood as they seems more value for money. Also considered concrete tiles due to durability but looks old fashioned.

Budget around 15k and fellow brothers seems to recommend Honsenz and Intech from what i read, wondering if they are good.
