QUOTE(nightzstar @ Jul 6 2007, 02:51 PM) Em one thing i dun understand when looking at the chord, u see the two dots in two different string in the same fret, what does it mean? Do i have the press both string with one finger on the fret or use two finger on both string on that fret? Please sifu help noobs here i think you're referring to those chord diagrams (uses diagram of strings and fret and dots to represent where to press the strings) instead of tablatures (using numbers to represent fret locations) am i right? usually can find diagrams in guitar beginners books...as for using 1 or 2 finger actually depends on the individual.... and some chords needs you to hold 3-4 strings using 1 finger... sometimes all the strings with 1 finger... i think the best way is to have a picture guide along with each chord diagram... if the book only shows the diagram and doesn't have a picture of how to hold the chord then u'll have a hard time trying to figure it out... another best way is to learn directly from other guitarist.... |

-----E
--o---B --o---G ---o--D ----o-A ----o-E o represnts the dots. The above one is the chord i am confused. I think common sense use index to press the two string together and use ring and pinkie to press G and B string. I am right? Thanks Mr.SweetTooth for ur explanation. @Mr. hotfootpowder, yeah that is what i exactly refer to |

Got a problem here.
I was trying to record a guitar track. Guitar > amp (micro cube) > soundcard (amp headphone out to soundcard mic in) When I play back the recorded sound, it was just does not sound right. The sound/volume seems to go up and down. Any help? |

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Jul 7 2007, 12:10 PM) aye , 9 are super light? I use super light as well, but I feel like the high E is a bit too thin..Might try thicker strings someday. what gauges you chaps use, i know certain guitarists are against light/ SL gauge strings. i think i got too used to it that well i cant think of using any other. Btw, can anyone recommend me any fusion guitarists to listen to? |
