hi how can I add the WWAN (for Sim card) option during ordering of the laptop?

I don't see any option to add it

Seems like lenovo notebook is the trend now in Lowyat? Is there a reason it is better, other than ability to customization?

Right now at Sepang. Already called hotline and she said that my item is currently ongoing custom clearance. The process will take about 3 working days and after that done, will deliver.

what is the difference between carry in warranty and on-site support?

Carry in support, I send the laptop to authorized sellers and they send it to depot for me?

Oh. Mine already cleared customs in Sepang and now back in Shah Alam. i called them and they said the "exception" is due to UPS operation is not working on Sunday so they not yet perform sorting before delivery.

Btw Fyi my laptop cleared custom in 1 day.

carry in = you send the laptop, wait for them to repair and return

on site = technician will come to your place and fix it on the spot

i live in quite a remote town, so carry in means I need to send the laptop to the service center ?

BTW, what is your opinion on warranty? Any problem with Lenovo laptop so far?

From my own experience with Acer computer, I did send my laptop for repair for 2 times within 3 years, one for dead pixels and another for keyboard dead keys.

I wonder if it will be good idea to buy the 3 years premier warranty , although it does increase the price of the laptop by 10%

Yes you need to send to their service center, or sometimes the PC shop that you bought can help you to send for you.

Lenovo i have used several units, over 10 years. I can say, rarely i have issues with them (almost nil). Been using X series mostly.

It depends on you, but at least a year warranty is important. When you start to use a laptop, youll notice issues.
Having longer term warranty gives you peace of mind.

Well, I'll speak from my personal experience. I was looking for a gaming laptop and Lenovo offers the best bang for buck for the price I'm paying and on top of that, the on-site hardware support add-on is much more affordable than other brand (I can't afford to wait for a longer turn-around time for any repair).

Hi sifus, I'm back again, this time reporting about a crash on my 3 day old Legion 5 15 AMD. I was studying on a PDF, left it on sleep and plugged in before heading for dinner just now. Once I came back I opened it up and it tells me Windows has updated language service, I proceed to unlock it and press Google Chrome and it has stayed frozen for 30 mins or so. Trackpad doesn't work, keyboard doesn't work, only holding the power button for a force restart works. Any solutions/suggestions? This is a custom order with Ryzen 5 4600H, 1650Ti, 16GB ram, 512 SSD and 80wh.....did not expect it to run into problems. I have not played a single game on it, and I haven't used it more than 10hrs since unboxing.

Is there any significant difference between "Onsite Support" and "Premier Onsite Support" other than prioritized and faster? The difference in price is very big.

main difference is premier includes software troubleshooting and repair as well.
on top of that, when you have issue they attend to you next working day.
