try to get at least RtX 3050, 8gb of ram is minimal but advise 16gb.
with that price, normally will get crappy display.

Depends on wat game you play la, FPS games will prefer 3050 at least.

I think 4k+ you can get around a decent gaming laptop, u pay 3k, the rest ask ur son topup on their own.

Depends on what type of games your son wants to play. if it is cpu-bound games (like Roblox), the ideapad gaming 3 gen6 ryzen edition with gtx1650 may fit the bill (after discount).

need to top up more to get better specced laptop to be able to run graphics-intensive games (minimum rtx3050).

Keep receiving notification to upgrade to Window 11, not sure it's from Lenovo (tuned by Lenovo)or Microsoft.

Anyone updated to Window 11?

Not really good experience here, and have roll back to Win 10 for more comfortable.

The interface is just too over for tablet, at least not for me.

Not see any performance impact though, but also not see any performance improvement.

I upgraded to Win 11 after I updated Bios that mentioned is for Windows 11 support.

Guys,
Does anyone know whether customization is no longer being offered? Looking at getting E14 Gen 3 AMD but it seems option to add larger battery, better screen and 2nd HDD are no longer available.

Hi,

Been reading in the net regarding the delivery delay and not soo good service by them. It seems that the delivery date stated when ordered cannot be trusted. Is it still happening now?. I remember reading someone posted on the delay issue in july/ Aug last year. I don't want to get trapped in this delivery issue.

while waiting for ansonyyc to reply, Lenovo usually uses UPS (United Parcel Service)

Hi thanks. Yes still UPS for most of the journey, but I notice it was transferred to another courier for for final delivery in Melaka. So am wondering which one it would be.

There's no UPS in Sarawak and the parcel didn't move for a few days, so I decided to call UPS (1800-1800-88) and ask the CS who was responsible for the shipping in my area. For Sibu, it is VR1 Nation Express. When contacted, the agent managed to arrange delivery on the same day for me.

I used ShopBack when I placed my order but it was not detected initially. After receiving my parcel, I submitted a 'Missing Cashback' request and managed to get the cashback after a month.

So far I'm having a great experience with the laptop after using it for two months. Unlike the previous ASUS laptop that I had, Lenovo is providing regular updates via Lenovo Vantage, which is a really nice surprise to me. biggrin.gif

Thanks to ZM Fong for recommending this model to me.
