There are surely lurkers like me who check out this thread in silence and look for any piece of information that can help them decide whether to order a laptop online from Lenovo or to buy one from a local seller. It's like when Shopee introduced sea shipping for East Malaysia, I was skeptical at first but after seeing reviews from other online customers on Facebook, I decided that it's a reliable option that's worth trying. In fact, if you check the first post of this thread, one of the questions posed by the TS is about the shipping time lol but that was two years ago and the replies are considered outdated now. Well, I believe we can contribute to this thread by sharing our own experiences, which in turn will help future, potential buyers.I sincerely apologize if my above words offend anyone, really sorry. Of course we shouldn't just talk about shipping time only. Information about the specs, build quality, after-sales service and warranty is very much welcome as well. The more, the merrier. |

Sharing my recent experience with Lenovo. Specs: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OVP: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « UPS Tracking: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « There's no UPS in Sarawak and the parcel didn't move for a few days, so I decided to call UPS (1800-1800-88) and ask the CS who was responsible for the shipping in my area. For Sibu, it is VR1 Nation Express. When contacted, the agent managed to arrange delivery on the same day for me. -- I used ShopBack when I placed my order but it was not detected initially. After receiving my parcel, I submitted a 'Missing Cashback' request and managed to get the cashback after a month. -- So far I'm having a great experience with the laptop after using it for two months. Unlike the previous ASUS laptop that I had, Lenovo is providing regular updates via Lenovo Vantage, which is a really nice surprise to me. Thanks to ZM Fong for recommending this model to me.
