Never read the thread? This is common for Lenovo Malaysia website orders. In fact when you place the order they also give expected waiting time (which is probably best case estimate).

OVP will update to different different months. Eventually will come, and if its more than the estimate at the time you order (e.g. 6-8 weeks) you can ask them for a 5% rebate.

Worth the price, unless you need it urgently (in which case please do go buy retail price elsewhere).

LOL, u r missing the point, just because everyone is experiencing this doesn't justify this is right. Just because it is the "common" thing doesn't mean we all have to accept it. I'm just posting the dates here for future potential buyer's reference but if you have nothing constructive to say then I suggest you don't say it at all. Saying "it will eventually come" doesn't make u look any smarter.

Not sure why you would even take the time to advocate for lenovo to ask people to buy elsewhere and request the 5% cashback. I suggest you to use your time to read up consumer protection act 1999. Learn how to be a smart consumer and not just happily accept 5% rebate and give them an easy pass - this will give them chance to do it again to other consumers. Maybe 5% rebate solve your problem and make you happy but it doesn't solve it for future customers.

Thanks for missing the point. Nowhere did I say this is right or need to be accepted. If you want to fight about right or wrong please ask CPA or PPIM or bring to small claims court yourself.

This is an internet forum and many including myself have already shared information. You are halfway through the process and just complaining, not sharing anything which previous buyers did not experience. So it is your post which is not constructive, just venting your unhappiness.

And sure, if the 5% is not a solution to you feel free to not ask for it. Just cancel your order, I'm sure that will avoid them being able to 'do it again to other consumers'. Or complain on an unrelated forum, that would be useful as well.

Again your entitled self is asking people to do what you think is right, first you asked me to buy somewhere else, now u ask me to cancel. I'm not sure who you even think you are. Yes you are right, this is a Internet forum, people can rant a little bit if they are not happy, but who you think you are to tell people what to do lol.....

If I want to complain to kpdnkhep or whatever department it is under my discretion, if I want to cancel my order it is also my discretion, you do not have to tell me what to do. All I did was a bit of ranting and a reference to future buyers on expected date but what u r doing is telling people what they should do instead. Please get off your high horse buddy.

If you're buying a self-customised version .. please be expected .. it took me 10 weeks to get mine .. I tried pushing them again and again .. they didn't bother to expedite my order rather delaying it again and again .. the worse part was .. I saw the model I wanted from time to time (written available 2-3 business day) but my order was kept at backlog ..

You can always cancel and purchase it at a higher price when it is available .. usually it would be at least rm500 more expensive ..

Gaming laptops should take longer because of graphic card stock issues .. so be expected to take longer ..

my case is the opposite... tried to cancel order, but item already left warehouse... too fast
didnt expect it just after a day

incase any of felllow forummer needs laptop (legion 5) quick can pm me, item expected to arrive next monday

From what I've seen, you cannot divert delivery unless one failed attempt made.

I think almost everyone here tak sabar2 to receive, don't think anyone has reported failing to receive before. You can try if you want, but the risk is UPS just leave it at your gate and take photo. If you didn't take it and someone swipe it....

And if you direct tell the driver you don't want the item, not sure what will happen. You can test and tell us tongue.gif but for me its a high risk thing la. They already got your money ma.

Normally for prebuild the timing is not accurate .. just wait 2 weeks .. if they mass produce.. u shud be getting urs soon ..

U can decide to cancel if you think its too long .. maybe a new gen may be out by then .. hahaha

Guys I went through a couple of threads and learned about ShopBack, but the issue is how to purchase the 3060 version of Ideapad gaming 3 from Lenovo's website?

Technation offers it for 4202rm 5600H/RTX3060/8GB/256GB/15.6" FHD 120hz those specs, but how can I buy directly on Lenovo's website?

Is legion 5 17 inch gen 6 worth the value the one with 17.3 5800H/RTX3060/8GB/512GB/17.3" FHD 144hz which is on technation too.

Can anyone advise me how I can get the same laptop but through Lenovo's website since Technation is able to do it somehow.
