After reading all the posts about CASHBACK, I wonder if I should cancel my current order for a Ideapad Gaming 3 15 BYO and re-order using SHOPBACK.

My order was done on March 29, initial estimated shipping date was June 30 (at the time the website said my order would be shipped in 4 weeks). Right now the estimated shipping date has been bumped up to May 20th.

So I'm really afraid of canceling and re-ordering because I'm afraid of having to wait another possible 10 weeks from now to get my laptop, even though the website says it can ship within 3 weeks.

Furthermore, the total price I would be paying with both the SHOPBACK refund (SB website says Lenovo can get up to 5 percent cashback) + BIRTHDAY discount code is pretty much the same as what I paid for when I ordered in March + the 5 percent refund that Lenovo said they would give.

So I'm not sure if it is worth the risk - any opinions?

*Not sure if I can get the 40 percent cashback that gu~wak_zhai said they got, because it seems like a bug that may not be easily replicated.

Just asking from your experience... can you see the total cashback amount before you confirm purchase? Or is it only shown after you purchase?
also, do you use the Chrome extension, or just the website?

Just purchased a Lenovo ideapad for around 3.1k after using BIRTHDAY code. Using shop back as well and got around RM100.

700 of 2.8k... is 25%.... not bad as the base is currently at 3.5% or 4.5%...

i purchase via Shopback app from my android phone, not sure if that's the cause of the bug.

just select lenovo via shopback app then purchase as usual, that's what I did. Altho I did add to cart and remove it multiple times as I was hesitating which parts to upgrade and wanted to check the final price

After the purchase was done, those cash backs were initially pending, so I thought maybe only one will get thru, but after 2 months all of them got confirmed. I'm quite sure mine was due to bug, not sure about others? Anyone else uses Shopback app to purchase like I did?

Will the shopback directly show pending status directly after purchase?

Mine also showing 6 cashback transaction. Totaling RM 600+.

After awhile I think, same goes to any Shopee purchase I did via shopback.

till today i didn't buy yet. Haha. Anyway i see the pre-built option for 3070 cannot select extend the warranty. Only if choose 16ACH6H @ built your own can.
And if not prebuilt is under ready to ship dunno whether can receive faster.

You need to reload the website often. Sometimes the extend warranty option will show.

just saw this post after order my legion 7 Gen 6 last week... but what to do... already order now every day keep checking status on the Lenovo website... stress sees the expected shipping date...

at first, it said 2 weeks on the website... then after I did order the status change that needs to call Lenovo for availability.

Under services page got no option for extend warranty in pre-built.

Not worth it, add few hundred can get rtx 3070 which is sweetspot for the gorgeous screen. But depending on your budget also, nevertheless its most cheapest rtx 3060 and 3070 out there

Previously my order being delayed till end of Jun21 and Lenovo already offer with 5% rebate after delivery. But shockingly today when i checked the delivery date back to normal (10May21).
Will they honour the rebate if really ship out within the estimate time? Actually i prefer they delay till end of Jun cos maybe new model came out and try to make an exchange then..
