QUOTE(attw @ May 15 2019, 09:30 AM) Yeah, won’t be surprised if the availability for the 7 is limited. I think they’ll push more on the Pro. Yes. Last night I watched many reviews. One of them mentioned that the non-pro version is only available in Asia and Europe region. No wonder last night they didn't introduce non-pro version at New York launch. Apparently OnePlus plan to release the highest spec only in US to compete with the other flagships. No more cheap OnePlus for US.This post has been edited by Max2006: May 15 2019, 10:53 AM |

the Pro's DxOMark score is ridiculously high for a camera that almost ALL reviewers said to be just alright in the price range they are playing in. Looks like another undertable deal again huh.
curved display + no jack + no wireless charging + average camera, oh my... guess I have to look elsewhere |

Luckily i not yet buy phone for Raya.
MY set coming this 21/5 right. Aiming for 8GB/256GB. If pricing is about P30 Pro/S10 Plus, then can do already. We get what we pay after all. But pricing in US is damn cheap if direct convert. Why la MY always mark up the price. |

QUOTE(fylon @ May 15 2019, 10:28 AM) Always there will be. This is also the strong side about Oneplus also, truly open source and they dont give a darn about how you want to mod the phone. hahaha i dunno why but i hate wireless earphonesI bet the headphone jack being removed is to create space for in-display finger print scanner / sensor lo. Although I'm audiophile kaki but it doesn't bother me much cos I prefer to use wireless headphone when I'm on work or on conference call or maybe travel cos I want to have everything easy to go. Wired headphone always tangled here and there. |

Look at S10s price US vs Malaysia. If direct convert the S10s is more expensive. But does samsung MY follow US price? No! They even lower the SRP to adjust with MY market.
S10E - 749 USD : MY RM2699 S10 - 899 USD : MY RM3299 S10+ - 999 USD : MY3699 What in the oblivion Oneplus MY is thinking. Even want to mark up from the US SRP. Shame! |

QUOTE(zubayr @ May 15 2019, 11:13 AM) To be honest, this is the turning point for OnePlus to move forward to high end flagship territory. If that local price prediction is true, that can only means local distributor wants to take this opportunity to milk more money from the fans. And based on the previous trend, the price will only go higher and higher for following years. In other words, OP6T will be the last RM2XXX phone we can get. As for non-pro version, I am sure they will mark up the price as well. Probably closed to RM3000.....This post has been edited by Max2006: May 15 2019, 11:25 AM |

It’s now just flagship period. And that’s why some people will bring up the lack of flagship features like IP rating, wireless charging and 3.5mm jack. |
