Yes. Last night I watched many reviews. One of them mentioned that the non-pro version is only available in Asia and Europe region. No wonder last night they didn't introduce non-pro version at New York launch. Apparently OnePlus plan to release the highest spec only in US to compete with the other flagships. No more cheap OnePlus for US.

Wtf!? The mark up is too damn high! Why why why? This new distributor is so greedy. I can only hope that his insider info is incorrect. Or the local distributor will change the price before launching....

To be honest, this is the turning point for OnePlus to move forward to high end flagship territory. If that local price prediction is true, that can only means local distributor wants to take this opportunity to milk more money from the fans. And based on the previous trend, the price will only go higher and higher for following years. In other words, OP6T will be the last RM2XXX phone we can get. As for non-pro version, I am sure they will mark up the price as well. Probably closed to RM3000.....

No. No trade in. Even they do have trade in programme, it will be only available to OnePlus devices.

And yes. The pro is available in Malaysia. The main local distributor already announced it on their Facebook. Now we are waiting for local launch on 21 May to see the price.

Yes. But most of the tech YouTubers said otherwise. They claimed that op7 pro camera performance is not on par with other flagships

Hence the conspiracy theory comes again, which is saying that nowdays dxo mark is not as reliable as it used to be.

Depends on the criteria you are focus on. If refresh rate is important, and if you hate notch and pwm, then op7 pro is totally worth it. Otherwise, the answer is no.

As for me, I was planning to go back to OnePlus this year due to its huge improvement on their screen. But that price (prediction) is slowly turning me off.....

The price is no longer an advantage. Now I need another reason to justify why I should go for op7t instead of Samsung s10/note10. Damn it!

Samsung. Surprised right? They gave it out to Oneplus instead of using it on their own flagships first. Anyway, it's a win-win situation. The more Oneplus 7 pro sold, the more profits Samsung gain.

I doubt it. Based on their previous marketing pattern, the Note series screen usually is on par, if not, slightly better than the S series. In other words, Samsung may only fine tune the screen on Note 10, but the spec detail is still the same with S10. same goes to the camera department. As most people said, Note and S are basically the same thing, except for some special fine tunings and of course, that S pen.

My best guess. Samsung probably will save the 90hz screen for next year S11 series.

I think the main reason why MKBHD got bad result is because of the brightness level he is using. I watch his videos quite often and I noticed he always crank up the brightness level on his phone to a very high position.

Oneplus 6 was distributed by MiHan

What to do? So far this is the only way to avoid the notch/holes. We probably need to wait until next 1 or 2 years before we can see the true full screen, bezelless, no motorized part phone. Samsung is working on that now, trying hard to hide the selfie camera beneath the screen.

Still no clue yet. But since they already released 2 different phones in this year, and the Pro obviously is the better one and premium one, may be the Pro is the T now. Who knows?

Mine is from Grand daddy OP1 jump to OP7 PRO. Haha.

I actually already decided. Expensive or not, I will still grab this phone. Watched dozens of reviews, this is the perfect phone for me. I always wish to have a fastest & smoothest phone with great screen. Samsung does have the best screen, but their os is never as smoother as OP. Until this day, My OP1 is smoother than my Note 9 in term of os scrolling. No kidding! Don't get me wrong. Note 9 is a very fast phone. But when it comes to smoothness, it still cannot fight with some other flagships.

So ya. OP7 PRO is a dream come true for me. Just hope that they will include some freebies, or trade in, or whatever.

2k screen + 90 hz, it's definitely a big hit to the battery life. However, you can adjust it based on your preference. If battery life is important to you, then change to fhd, or switch to 60hz. Either way, it's not a big issue since you have 30 warp charger. Imo, this alone already solve your battery life problem.

Ya. Most likely extra cable or car charger. But since now we have new distributor, I hope they will be more "creative" this time. Lol.

Nah. No worry about that. If you buy AP set such as China set, the seller will flash the phone to Oxygen OS for you.

One of the local tech news site zinggadget reported about the latest input of Oneplus product in sirim database.

And ya. It seems only Oneplus 7 pro is found. Either XianFeng don't plan to bring in the Non-ori version, or they will only release Non-pro in here at much later date.
