QUOTE(Aaronnnnnn @ May 15 2019, 09:48 AM) As bro TOMEI-R said, 3.5mm jack got removed since the predecessor, and there's always workout around aka converter for it. So no comment on that. And camera dept wasn't Oneplus selling point ever since the beginning of their Oneplus one line, but then tons of effort has been put on by OP team and it got improved by alot after all these year. Nonetheless, speaking of user experience I bet hardly there's custom OS can beat OxygenOS for now. |

QUOTE(Aaronnnnnn @ May 15 2019, 10:20 AM) i'm sure there will be a google ported camera that will really improve the quality of the picture compared to the stock camera Always there will be. This is also the strong side about Oneplus also, truly open source and they dont give a darn about how you want to mod the phone. yup oxygenOS is the best... got useful customization and no lag my oneplus 3 is still smooth I bet the headphone jack being removed is to create space for in-display finger print scanner / sensor lo. Although I'm audiophile kaki but it doesn't bother me much cos I prefer to use wireless headphone when I'm on work or on conference call or maybe travel cos I want to have everything easy to go. Wired headphone always tangled here and there. But I mind if you say those high-end amp or dedicated lossless audio player went for wireless. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ May 17 2019, 07:25 AM) Lol. Still people are ranting on the price. Oneplus has already set it as so, so deal with it. Like mentioned, those without the budget for the 7 Pro can go for the normal 7 or 6T instead. Somehow.. Gotta agreed. Hahah! Wise word man. It's like asking for the highest spec Civic but you only have the budget for the lowest one. It's still a Civic. Lol You pay / grab what's within the budget you have right. Ranting won't help to bring down the price nor put back whatever thing that Oneplus already stripped off. |

QUOTE(Lon3Rang3r00 @ May 17 2019, 09:47 AM) Assuming the phone cost 3.2k, there are many alternatives below that price point with better performance in some area. I think it's down to consumer preferences~ i'm a Oneplus fan so i'll just go and grab the 7Pro to replace my 3 (Which my 3 replaces my 1). Whether it's imported set or not. Same boat and same condition, going to replace my OP3 also and make it as secondary aka office line phone. Nonetheless, I've been using OP since their 1st phone until now.. Maybe I'm just lucky but I do found their hardware are quite durable. Mine One is currently used by my mum and it still kicking |

QUOTE(niclas @ May 21 2019, 05:29 PM) No. Air-ship is possible. Interesting bro. Care to share the lubang? I get my Mi9SE Brown Edition through this channel within 3 days from the parcel leave my China forwarder store. QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ May 21 2019, 05:29 PM) If you have to go through forwarder, you have to pay them. If you import yourself, you have to get Sirim's approval and probably could get taxed. Might as well buy AP sets. Save all the hassle. Yea, but if can get pass GST and tax, there's tons of thing can get into Msia with the fwder apart of hp only.. |

Those who thought to get from China Grey set, I think we might need to dig deep abit more. As Oneplus used to have different variant to serve diff country (less frequency band) so better do some homework before hand.

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ May 21 2019, 06:00 PM) If my memory serves me right, there 2 or 3 band didn't supported in back in 6T model previously. Although it didnt affect the telco in Malaysia but we dont know about in the future. Swapping of OS is just for the sake of getting Google Playstore instead of China oneplus its own ecosystem. |
