Hi there, I'm sorry as it's still new so I can't really feedback yet. Maybe I'll let you know after a week. Busy with CNY weekend to play with this baby.

Been using about a month now, raven SE not bad. Performance is top notch but here are the disadvantages that i see:
- the keyboard not very nice to type, the space bar sometimes if u press too side u will miss it
- after upgrading battery and removing the 2.5" slot dont expect a 1.9kg laptop
- dont like the 2second delay power button. u need to hold the power button 2 secs to boot the machine
- mouse is ok in sensitivity but the button is build into the keypad, meaning its not dedicated button for left and right click
- takes quite long to deliver your laptop if you're customizing it alot when purchasing. Try to pay the extra rm50 to get the laptop faster
- Speaker is sharp but not as loud as you would expect.

Pros
- dont get the 144Hz unless u really need it. screen looks nice and sharp
- performance is top notch
- design is simplistic and nice
- keyboard backlight is nice
- build is sturdy and no tacky plastic here and there
- easy to open the back cover to upgrade SSD or RAM (alot of manufacturers now like to actually prevent u from upgrading by making it difficult)
- having some connection at the back of the laptop is quite creative to prevent wires at the side

Generally....
- you need to consider where u using the laptop as this dont comes with windows license. if you're home user then u would not care about it

Cant remember anything else for now. biggrin.gif

How about the battery life? I feel it drains quite fast. Even on standby. But that's just 1 day. Need to continue using to be sure. Do you bring your charger around with your laptop? The charger is quite bulky. Any tips?

Alright. Thanks for the reply. How about the type-c as a charger for the laptop? Or how much is another charger for the Raven SE?
*
For the Raven SE, kindly note that the Type-C port (USB 3.1) can only be used for power output delivery only and also data transfer. It does not support power delivery input due to insufficient wattage available from the port (65W) vs the DC jack (minimum 150W), hope this clarifies.

In regards to the charger, it is available as a separate purchase but in regards to the pricing/compatibility (according to your configuration), I would recommend for you to consult our Support Line directly as well for easier communication by using the contact number below:

How do you do this? I'm going thru the "illegear command center" and all i can find is the Office/Gaming mode. I'm already at Office - Eco - Advance - lowest fan speed mode and I feel my battery won't last 3 hours. I'm going to test run normal office usage tmr to be certain.

Hi, I'm using the Raven SE for about 3 months now. I realized the laptop switch on by itself during sleep mode and drained the battery till 0%. Have had disable the "allow wake timers" under the power setting.

Anyone face similar situation? And what would the solution be?

Quite a bothering as need to use the laptop quickly during meeting/lecture and found out the battery drained till 0%. I suspect Windows would be the culprit.

Hi, I would recommend for you to uninstall the Intel graphics driver, as well as performing a clean reinstallation for the Intel HD driver by using the method listed below

1. Kindly download the following files ‘Display Driver Uninstaller’ (DDU) – the application can be downloaded from the official site here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/displa...r-download.html

Before proceeding do disconnect from the internet to avoid windows reinstallation unofficial Intel hd driver

2. Once the archive is extracted, kindly run the “Display Driver Uninstaller.exe”
3. There will be a prompt to recommend you to reboot into Safe Mode, kindly disregard and click “OK”.
4. On the right side of the Display Driver Uninstaller window, kindly select “GPU” under the ‘Select device type’ dropdown menu and kindly select “intel” under the ‘Select device’ dropdown menu.
5. After that, kindly select the ‘Clean and do NOT restart’ option on the right side of the Display Driver Uninstaller window.
6. Once the driver is successfully uninstalled, kindly open the intel graphics driver and install the driver
7. Once the driver is installed, kindly reboot the laptop.

Hi uchi78, the IONIC is equipped with a single centralized fan & heat-sink combo, dual heat-pipes as well as a centralized vents at the rear of the laptop for its thermal management 😊 Reviews are coming up very soon!~

For Creative Sound Blaster installation:
Open and install ee8496ea70e54f9c88849afb7a868943.appxbundle only inside the AP folder
Next install the CreativeAudioEffectsComponentInstaller_2.0.0.36.exe inside Creative UWP Driver folder
Lastly SPKEQ_TF_PCAPP_US_1_00_27.exe inside EQ folder.

Please do install all the drivers from our support page https://support.illegear.com/
For Sound blaster App to work properly the Intel graphics HD and Realtek driver is required to be installed
