oh, then sell off the RG.
someone is selling a peavey vandenberg now for RM1550. 24 frets, 24.75" scale (perfect), ebony fretboard (even better), kahler 2700 trem, MIA. its from 1988, so used of cos. if not for the kahler, i would've gotten it already. |

Isn't the Kahler a good trem man? And i don't think i want to sell my RG because i play a lot of metal and starting to learn shred too. Don't think the LP would be too good for those.

Haha, chill man...
They have huge hands, suited to the LP neck...mine are tiny.. I've tried playing fast licks on a LP before, kept messing up.. Maybe i just have to get used to it first i guess.. Wizard II necks to LP necks are a huge step in a different direction.. And yeah, Zakk Wyle pwns. I get the point. |

Sorry to bring this thread back up. I was just browsing around and came across the LTD Alexi-600. Looks to be a really nice guitar. I asked around and can get it for RM5620. I was just wondering, would getting that and replacing the EMG HZ H4 with an EMG 81 be a good idea? Off my budget, but i'm willing to save up a little longer and get one if its going to be a good buy. Want it to last me long term. Also, i prefer it over the RR24, maybe because i'm and Alexi fanatic.
Also, i've seen it at Guitar Collection but its a lot more expensive there. Would they let me try it out? I want to see how it plays. Or do you think they won't trust me with it since its expensive and all? |
