you're gonna get two?
do you have any idea how damn big the case for the razorback is? as it is the washburn dime case is friggin huge and heavy. DHL it? so whats the difference between doing that and asking a store to order for you? both ways you definitely get taxed and pay nice shipping. |

Dammit........
Looks like I'll have to take my chances with the standard cases...... or will have to just bring back the razorback and buy a flight case for it there. |

Haha, you guys hijacked my thread. Lol.
Yea, the Razorback V is sweet, but costs a bomb. Where do they stock Dean guitars in M'sia? Haven't seen any shops carrying them so far. |

im waiting for ironwood to completely close down.
couple of their outlets gone already right? serves those dumbasses right. btw, i dont think they make flight cases that can fit the razorback. normally for guitars, you can stick a normal case into a keyboard size flight case. but since the razorback case is as big as a keyboard flight case, well you're SOL |

Woah woah wait.. There's a shop in Kota Kemuning that stocks Deans. Pretty up to date. It's called Spruce Guitar Professionals or something. It's listed in Deans official page among distributors in malaysia. Well.. technically it is the only distributor in malaysia.
Added on June 28, 2007, 10:53 pmOh.. Here's an alternative. Order a custom Ran Guitar. Those babies will make you scream. This post has been edited by MyAria: Jun 28 2007, 10:53 PM |

I tried getting a quote from them. According to them, my ideal guitar would cost around 8k!!
EDIT: And where is Kota Kemuning btw? This post has been edited by fatboythin: Jun 28 2007, 10:56 PM |

Hmmmmmm.... I know you want a 22fret, but if they have the Razorback V, that's really worth getting if it's around the 4k price mark......
Wonderfully made, even for a MIC, and screams like a banshee out of hell..... |

Yea, i know man. The only 22 fret V i'd settle for is either the RR3 or the Razorback V. But the Dean just looks so darn killer, hope they have stock of it.
Besides, Corey from Trivium uses the Razorback V. So it should be 'shredable'. Haha. |

How is the upper fret access on the RR3 man? And i have small hands btw, garn.
And do the pickups do the job for metal? I heard that the JB sounds too trebly in alder. |

Absolutely horrible..... Because it's a bolt on and it sticks out like a sore thumb......
But after years of playing with a bolt-on Les Paul, I had no problems...... (FYI..... Before my infamous ZW Bullseye, I was using my Epiphone LP-100) |

^Yea, i know you had the LP-100 before.
Darn, hoped the RR3 would have at least good fret access. Is there a big difference between a bolt-on and a set-in? The Razorback Vs have set-in necks. EDIT: On second thought, forget the Dean. Definitely going to be way off my budget. Any recommendations of rad looking and good sounding guitars that won't require me to break the bank? I need it as my gig guitar. Thanks guys.
