Miles isn’t even as long as the original and it’s also released for the PS4... so certainly not a major factor for me.

If I get a PS5, it’ll solely be for better performance on existing games. But even that’s not confirmed and we don’t even know how much better it’ll run.

Too many uncertainties = XBOXSX gets a preorder from me instead. I have less than 10 games on Xbox one, but game pass will fix that for me. Only issue is I’ve to start a new game.

Can it hit “ultra” performance at a stable frame rate for a prolong period of time ?
What’s the resolution / frame rate it can hit?
Any upgrades done on past generation of games?
Will the console be quiet or will it be louder than the Xbox?

PS5 will be the console i play mostly for their exclusive which cannot be find on xboxsx or even PC..

wat kind of exclusives u are talking about, mind to share? cos i cant really think exclusive are really exclusive nowadays.

Heck even Sony also say they will be bringing more exclusives to PC

Not really a fan of exclusives thou - I usually play mainstream games from 3rd party publishers, so the transition is easy.

god of war is 1 of them which i dont think will be coming to pc...also sony playstation plus got the best benefit u can get as the free games they provided is damn good and save me a lot money from buying all this games i might buy instead they give u for free.

lol xbox game pass is way much better than the scrappy koko ps plus game u get every month. instant day 1 release for microsoft published games. God of war 1 generation release 1 title only. last of us another one maybe? dont really have any kick for exclusive anymore. heck some exclusive like order 1886, knack is so crappy ass shit, killzone also gone so bad in ps4.

sorry la, when time like ps, ps2 exclusive is really exclusive that made us buy playstation, but now, since ps3, i think most exclusive is just another game, much more 3rd party release are on par or better. and im getting fedup with sony arrogant. so i wish xbox can win this new gen console wars, felt liks ps5 is another ps3 in the making

anyway, at the end of the day, i would just grab both of them

if official sony malaysia ps5 price is rm2599, i might as well go buy pc & join master race.

consoles are suppose to be cheaper then pc but if the price is high like this, a lot of people will either buy pc or wait for the price to drop.

pc arent cheap also considering u need alot of stuffs, and it does take more space. i only think that if wan buy PC better buy xbox series x, with game pass ultimate now with ea pass, it is really a game changer.

You can't build a PC for RM2599 that will match the PS5's performance, I guarantee you. If you can, I'll buy you that PC for free and toss in a PS5 too. How about that? Wanna take the challenge?

yes, i agree with you about xbox. that's what i told those people in kopitiam but some of the pony sheep there think ps+ with 2 lousy rentals a month is better then game pass.

this is why some people say microsoft will win the next-gen console war because of game pass.

the Xbox indeed provide goods library of games with game pass.. i slightly attracted by it. However...Play station user base not only focus on game likes last of us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Days gone and etc. there are many Japan Studio has good relation with Sony in which their games always on Play station console e.g Final Fantasy, Persona......where Xbox is very very lacking........because of this Xbox is very hard to get the hardcore players in these segment and in Asian these segment of players are very huge....and it is safe to assume people who like JRPG has least interest in whatever western RPG has to offer aka Skyrim type of games.

every audience knows if u want to play to top of the line JRPG , play station is always the go to.

Basically what i see is base on gender of games or types of exclusive games u want to play and it will decide which console u should go for:-
e.g
Xbox- First Person Shooter , First Person RPG
PS - Third Person shooter/Action RPG, JRPG.

Gamepass is still very good value but not enough for me to jump ship i scroll through their list of games in gamepass there are few i am interested but not must have and not exclusive even i subscribe it will just finish it in a month or two then i either wont touch the rest and stop subscription already if it is possible (unless they force me 1 year subsciption la). sometimes it is not the quantities of games....but the quality of games i guess or in other word the types of games u enjoying playing.

PS5 comes with 3700x equal CPU
so if you want to build a PC as powerful as PS5 then the CPU itself will cost you 1.3k + motherboard x570 is 900 (minimum) + RAM = 2.5k+already + now the big part, Ray trace support GPU which will set u at 1.8k (minimum) so 2.5 + 1.8 = 4.3k already. now you will need a gen 4 NVMe which is above RM 500 now & that too isn't 1gb
so you will need to spend around 6k minimum to build a PC that is as powerful as a PS5 all digital edition.

xbox gamepass is good no deny it but too bad microsoft dont see malaysia as country to invest so they wont get my money and ps5 will still be my main to play game console.

Ps exclusive although slowly coming to pc, still prefer to play it day 1 when it release, e.g horizon zero dawn feels like a long long long time ago since I finish it.

And now if new games come out will play that over old games. So better to play on release than waiting few years. Time is limited now

final fantasy xv is at xbox one, wat say u leh? i believe the coming 16 will also be at xbox, cos they also show u they use pc to do demonstration already lol.. just matter of time. ff7 remake also not exclusive, is just time exclusive. so ppl say jrpg, but final fantasy the biggest jrpg also come to microsoft, wat else u want leh? ok la persona not there.

if you are hardcore JRPG players...you seriously telling them to wait one year till they come to Xbox in order to play it while they already waiting for years since they first heard the title?? that does not make sense.
and who knows what more title the developer is making but yet to announce. might as well stick in platform where it will guarantee to land. why trust a platform where this gender is not its strong suit?
