How does the free ps4/ps5 dual entitlement upgrade works?

Only digital or disc also can?

If disc, will it detect the game as ps5 game using ps4 disc? Or it will detect it as ps4 game?

I think theres a difference between sony centre and sony store (klcc). With the former being official resellers

Title upgrades from PS4 to PS5 depends on the publisher of that title.
Some titles do not have a free upgrade path such as PS4 Spider-Man, Control, GTA 5, & Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Thats what i thought, because during PS4 PO, only 3 Sony branch took order, KLCC, Curve and 1Utama IINM

edit - I think people who paid deposit for PS5 PO should check with Sony HQ, whether it is genuine. because when i POed PS4 for MY launch ; they only accept full payment
