TM Point gave me a complimentary empty simcard and said  could use apps to register prepaid unifi mobile online, by choosing "I already have a simcard", but during the process, everything is done and order number is given, but now last part to scan the Ic to verify step and to link and activate the simcard, nothing happening during scanning of ic.  Anyone has the same experience? TQ
*
should have auto activated when first time insert into the mobile. choose first time login. enter your sim phone number and password to register for login.

Seems like there are some uncertainties when there is no unifi LTE coverage and to connect to Celcom 3G as alternative to fallback to.

I think I will keep an eye again before I reconsider.

In my experience, you'll definitely connected to celcom 3g when there's no 4g lte. Try with prepaid first, see how it goes, they have extended the $59 promo, so more time for you to consider your option.

i dont need to xplain ur concern regarding band 5...im just sharing my good experience n opinion, but it seems you already hv ur own option. so why i bother arguing? hahaha funny guy

you are using bebas prepaid? it does have free 3G data by default rite? must add in the 3G data add-on in order to connect to 3G?

if it can confirm fall back to celcom 3G then it will be good, at least celcom 3G is very promising. however, is it really unlimited as per the rm59 plan? yeah, indeed, since the rm59 promo has been extended, there is more time to consider. i have been testing out the prepaid for the 4G coverage so far.

I'm coming from maxis postpaid, i have a good experience on unifi mobile so far too. Coming from well established telco, we dont have to set our expectation to be "up there". Those big telcos have been around for decades and to have assumption that the service will be comparable is wrong.

& yes the "peace of mind" that i dont have to purchase additional quota or restrict myself to not use data definitely a welcome change for 2020.

It's only a telco, not a marriage.

So if want to test, must add 3G add-on to test the 3G connection.

Wah. Prepaid so jialat? Cannot even add 3G data? If no LTE coverage meaning no line at all.

I remember when it first started, there is such option. Surprised to know that now no more.

I still have about 17gb++ and 18gb++ the free data out of the 20GB when I first got the two cards. Haha.

If subscribe to RM99 package (and promo RM59 @ 12 months contract), both LTE and HDSPA are unlimited... No need to buy any HSDPA quota as tabulated below:

Conclusion : After converting the prepaid to postpaid, just get in touch with your lawyer(s) if the above are "misleading"...
