I would love to get feedbacks from other SA users. I am currently depositing on a monthly basis (on the 1st of every month) and am considering whether to switch to weekly basis. For those who practise DCA on a weekly basis, do you (1) deposit on a fixed day of every week, or (2) deposit 4 times a month max? Since some months would have 5 weeks, you would end up depositing more on such months for mode (1).

I'm considering to deposit on a fixed date every month, which is on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Would there be any negative impact because of the long delay in depositing between 28th to 7th of the next month? Looking forward to hearing from all of you biggrin.gif

Been performing DCA on every saturday, no matter that month has 4 or 5 weeks.

Btw, for those that have invested, what is the return from your portfolio so far? Im not sure whether to invest in this or go for FSM funds, some of the returns of those funds look promising.

Joined since late February, getting about 3% return so far.
I was once in FSM managed fund too, Stashaway wins in terms of flexibility to allow any amount for dollar cost averaging.

today is 2nd of May, and I just deposited . I have been depositing every 2nd of the month since Jan 2019. Risk at 18%. So far return at 1% sad.gif

Should I have another portfolio at 36% for diversification

Agree with the other poster, diversification. FSM funds are kinda different markets

You can do that, or tune it to somewhere in the middle, say 20-26%

I think most people have 2-3 portfolios just to see the performance, the port in itself are already diversified. SA will probably suggest that you decide on a risk% and stick with it long term

Is SA a good way to hedge against MYR depreciation?
Looks like all the investment is converted to USD.

Sort off. If you have the habit of changing SGD or USD and keep it then yes. This also serve as investment.

But if your intentions to covert just for the sake of convert. Then no.
