so the management fee is 0.8% pa for the first 50k right? so if u get the 3 months 0% management fee, does that mean u only pay for the other 9 months for that year?

The management fee is billed to you on monthly basis.
If you have referral or other free management fee promotion, you'll be billed for it at the following month.

Anyone can give advice if I deposit 1k to StashAway Simple early of the month, and transfer 250 weekly to my 22% Portfolio, is it worth it?

Cuz I think the amount is quite small (1k) monthly, and I'll be transferring 250 weekly until it depletes, and deposit 1k again next month.

I'm currently doing that.. Cause my bank account doesn't pays much interest.. So buy doing this, the last top up of the week will add in the interest too..

But I read here that the transfer rate takes some time to our portfolio. Plus if 1k - 250 weekly the return should be miniscule. So is it worth it?

For me if 2 3 months the return still cents it wouldnt be worth it.

If you dca, slow or fast won't matter,
If you transfer and it takes 4 days to complete.

All transfers take 4 days to complete..
So still dca.. So i don't mind..

2 months and i got 1.60 ringgit, using that method of dca.

Why do that? If you transfer your entire savings to simple and make weekly deposits of 250 it still makes sense

But if you transfer 1k monthly and transfer 250 your money will spend most of the time in transit and not earning anything

might as well just transfer the 250 weekly into the 22% portfolio and skip simple

My entire savings is parked under ASB which offers still 5% return annually so Im just thinking of ways to utilise StashAway Simple and my monthly budget to deposit in SAMY

The advertised return is higher than FD and there is no lock-in period for your money, downside is the long withdrawal time.

I was under the impression that ASB is the best option atm. Where do I check the rates for Stashaway? The official website isn't telling me anything besides several widgets in one page asking me to register lol

if comparing to on board rate, SA simple is higher
FD hunter usually look for promotion rate which is much higher than on board.
