Between this and fundingsocieties, which is better?

P2P value at risk is way higher than StashAway ETFs.

Can Malaysians open a StashAway SG account?
*
Should be alright if you have an account with the local big 3 banks: DBS/POSB, UOB or OCBC. Best to check with them directly if you plan to use money transfer like Instarem (downside is you incur 0.45% for MYR -> SGD and 0.1% for SGD->USD). Refer here: https://www.stashaway.sg/faq/360007429373-w...t-deposits-from

If Saxo is the culprit then who SA SG is using as their broker? Not Saxo?

SG can get the speed of morning withdraw, overnight sell?  unsure.gif

I'm guessing SA SG and SA MY have separate Saxo books since they're both dancing with different countries' monetary authorities. Amanda has no idea why Saxo is being so quirky with SA MY as compared to SA SG either.

My guess is RM and SGD. RM need to investigate the money more than SGD.

When selecting 'since inception', is it from the moment we started investing it or from year beginning or something else?

Hi,XXX we do offer the SPDR Gold ETF (GLD) as part of our ETF selection which is a feature of StashAway’s Investment Framework called Economic Asset Regime Allocation (ERAA) (https://www.stashaway.my/r/stashaways-etf-selection).

Just to share, GLD is the largest ETF to invest directly in physical gold. (https://www.etf.com/GLD#overview)

Kindly note that it is not possible for a customer to handpick the ETFs or the allocation. Our algorithm carefully picks the ETFs most suitable for your goal based on your risk preferences, selected goal, and current economic regime. This allows us to provide the most optimal diversification personalised to you.

Hope that helps!

This is what I got when I asked if I could take gold away.

I rather they don't put any commodities. BTW they used to not have any commodities, just pure stocks v bonds balance juggling, suddenly portfolio got 15% GLD sometime in 2017Q4.

Only risk 36, other portfolios beyond 10% risk got smacked with 15% gold.

Oh yeah forgot to update:

Just for fun, I have now switched a portion of 6.5 port to 36

Buuut, it seemed a little slow I guess. Despite not having any FX done at all, it is still.. a bit yeah slow.

I did the change on 1/4, before US market open. It registered on the app on 1/4, in progress (selling).

It sold the assets on 1/4 US (2/4 MY), then it now shows that the transaction is done on 2/4.

For some silly reason, they bought the assets in 2 tranches over 2 days (subsequent days even), instead of doing it all on the same day.

No idea, but when I was a trader, we would do the switch in real time (with a net positive or neutral cash position of course). So lets say uh Norwegian retirement fund wants to exit O&G and Banks, then switch into Healthcare and Property, we would just sell then buy almost immediately over the day, taking into account not to impact the stocks/entire market too significantly with any particular counter.

But these ETF markets are like a million times bigger than MY wor.

Is StashAway Malaysia AUM too small to trade efficiently? I using Singapore one mainly and everything is butter smooth.

dunno wor, possibly

but I guess it doesn't matter on AUM in this case I suppose? you can just trade directly, because it is a dollar to dollar switching trade. granted our trade was in the 8 figure size, and the drawback is the impact on prices. But shouldn't a smaller trade be easier?

for SG, the switch is done on t+0?

Now it's getting slow and slower.

Previously was around t+3. Now it's all uncertain. Some time 4 some time 5.

Is that possible to suggest them we had an option to add cash direct into USD * standalone personal cash account in profile then we do standing instructions to make it auto debit into the risk profile? Same concept as in FSM parking account.

The dragging seem worst month by month.
