QUOTE(Eurobeater @ Apr 6 2020, 11:20 AM) Does anyone know if Stashaway deposits can be made using credit cards via JomPay? It seems like its possible under my internet banking page, but I've never tried it. I have replied your question in the Maybank Barcelona thread.

QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Apr 6 2020, 11:37 AM) Hi xxxx! Thank you for reaching out to us. For the latest funding round numbers, you can take a look at it here: https://www.stashaway.my/r/stashaway-raises...on-usd-series-b. As for our AUM, we are keeping private our AUM because by itself, it is not an indicator of whether or not we are meeting our business plan targets. We understand that it’s a business of scale, which is why our marketing strategy reflects that. It’s important to note that we have very strong, seasoned investors who have vetted the business plan, and who are comfortable with our marketing strategy and our international expansion timeline. Hope this gives you better clarity! FYI respond from SAMY regarding funding and AUM. So what is the conclusion? Safe?

QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Apr 6 2020, 11:40 AM) I read they say no market movement for one whole week in the app. Plus it's getting red since Malaysia started MCO so market declines since everyone stays at home similar to other countries. Plus the withdrawal takes almost 1 week or more. People scared edi cz they think it's skim cepat kaya lol Even MCO, Bursa trading still continues. It does not make sense for Wahed MY team not operating during MCO period.

No movement in MyETF meaning there's no connection for Wahed with the US market movements?
So, it is solely depending on the local buy and sell orders in the Bursa? Price convergence will happen right after?

QUOTE(dummies @ Apr 7 2020, 12:10 PM) i am new to SA , i notice some people just started to invest in SAMY at this time, and they choose risk 36 appetite., i understand that is the highest risk profile, may i know why people did that? What make people pick 36 right now ? is it due to lowest entry cost? i want to invest in SAMY in this difficult time but i don't know which risk profile to choose now in order not to lose money. Anyone can help? thanks Risk rating: 36% -> high risk, high gain (also high loss). It depends on your risk appetite. If you want swallow the short term and ride through this period of violent volatility, you may reap high return when market starts to surge in coming months.

QUOTE(dummies @ Apr 7 2020, 12:21 PM) if i choose 36 now and every month i dump fixed amount of money into it consistently to use the dollar cost averaging strategy, will that reduce my risk and if the market rebound, i can get higher gain? I cannot read the future and I don't know how bumpy the road in coming months. DCA is meant to smoothen the volatility ride. A disciplined DCA won't matter much as it is usually done with a prefixed amount and prefixed intervals.

QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Apr 9 2020, 09:02 PM) How's the weightage is calculated? If one ETF is underperforming then the weightage (which corresponds with current value) will decrease? Vice versa with ETFs who are performing? This is what I found, it could answer part of your curiosity: Rebalancing: When a particular asset reaps significant gains relative to other assets in the portfolio, its market value weight increases above target allocation. Without rebalancing, the portfolio is increasingly concentrated in the outperforming asset class hence raising risks. Our algorithm checks client portfolios daily, and performs rebalancing when allocations deviate from targets by more than our "optimised" bands. This can happen weekly, monthly or quarterly, depending on the markets' volatility and performance.

QUOTE(Death Wings @ Apr 10 2020, 10:54 AM) just joined SA, risk portfolio I set to 30%, recommended to go 36% with current market? If it suits your risk appetite, just ALL IN. Some in here said that the market has bottomed. Upside is on the way; let's reap the return along the way!

QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Apr 11 2020, 02:15 PM) Funny thing is the MYR value always changes daily. Total Returns USD 10 Apr $11.73 11 Apr $11.73 Total Returns MYR 10 Apr RM91.48 11 Apr RM72.73 USD-MYR should change daily right? Even they're not using xe.com they should use their conversion bank figure; perhaps no movement during weekend. This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Apr 11 2020, 02:18 PM

QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Apr 11 2020, 02:30 PM) I guess. but 1 day change from 90 to 70 is a bit much dont you think haha. More so when dollar value remains the same. Does it mean MYR value going up I think MYR up 2 to 3 cents. It was about 4.32XX to 4.30XX now.
