Change to GBP first before you can buy.

Hi guys would like to enquire, i found out that some ETF are available in an exchange (checking through IB ETF list in the exchange), but through TradeStation Global, i can't find the ETF in that exchange but it is only available in another exchange, why is this so?

Is it because TradeStation Global doesn't offer to trade that ETF in that particular exchange, even though it is offered by IB?

Example:
EQQQ1 is shown to be available through LSE ETF LIST, checking through IB website

However, when search through TradeStation Global web client portal, it is not available but only offered through another exchange which is SIX SWISSS EBS

To whom should we submit the scanned W8 form (with our signature)? Interactive Brokers, or Tradestation Global?

Thank you for your clarification. smile.gif

Do we submit our W8-BEN form when opening tradestation global account, I have forgotten about that

I tried to search on my client portal > sidebar > Report / Tax Docs
or
Account Setting but can't find anything about W-8 Ben form, nor there is any information if I have submitted ones before cry.gif

With Transferwise borderless account feature now disabled for Malaysia, perhaps will be enabled again one day.

What are the other alternatives to withdraw from IB? I initially thought instarem could receive funds, but I guess only Transferwise.

Transferwise cannot expect money from IB. Not sure if it's limited to USD or all currency.

For my case it's Euro, and I read that their multi currency account can accept for free. But transferring it back to malaysian account has charges of course. But also I read that Transferwise just recently disabled it.

So I'm wondering what's the next best method to withdraw from IB/Tradestation to my malaysian account.

None, The only way is exchange to SGD, transfer to SG banka ccount then use fintech or cimb sg to bring the money back. That's the only way to save your money.

Hi All. Newbie Q.

If I buy on NYSE or LSE, as a Malaysian do i get taxed? (eg dividend withholding tax).

+ for long term (retirement fund / dividend accumulation), which global broker would you suggest? I'm trying to minimize the non-trading cost such as inactivity fees.
