QUOTE(alexkos @ May 19 2019, 10:20 PM) if all time SP500, maciam 10%? long term view la. But no guarantee ya. If enter 1999, then gg 2000. If enter 2007, then gg 2008. QUOTE(roarus @ May 20 2019, 11:34 AM) Old article (RIP John) - but to set expectation to 4% level even though historically it's 9-ish-close-to-10% Thank you for your reply, alexkos and roarus. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/22/jack-bogle-...ext-decade.html No one knows if this is the tail of a bull run or we have another extension 2-5 years to go The returns from ASNB FP (which is considered as low risk) is around 5.5 to 6 %. Yeah, we cannot directly perform apple-to-apple comparison, between ASNB FP and SXR8 SP500 index fund. Then again, the annualized return of investment from SXR8 SP500 index fund should be higher, in order to justify the multiple risks we have to bear, as compared to ASNB FP. I have some questions about opening a trading account in TradeStation Global.
1) Referring to https://www.tradestation-international.com/...unt-new-client/, TradeStation Global requires the following supporting documents, for account application. a. ID card or passport b. Proof of address: Utility bill, bank statement or similar I do realize that https://www.tradestation-international.com/...6-555d25f7-3fe6 does list some examples of supporting documents, but the examples may not be suitable in Malaysian context. Normally, for us Malaysians, can we submit our scanned image of our MyKad (crossed with 'for TradeStation Global only'), first page of our handphone bill (showing our address) or the statement of our savings account (showing our address)? 2) Did you insert Offer Code in the online application form in TradeStation Global? Thank you for your clarification. This post has been edited by kart: Feb 9 2020, 10:57 PM |

Thanks for your reply. So, your IC and bank statement are in the form of image file, right? Why did you submit your income tax statement? |

To whom should we submit the scanned W8 form (with our signature)? Interactive Brokers, or Tradestation Global? Thank you for your clarification. |
