If i'm not mistaken, so far no upgrade happening yet. Users require to update their profile account profile thru portal first, if some information is still missing. Currently only basic Unifi TV 2.0 channel accessible. After the migration/update later, it will tie with our existing Unifi TV profile, EG : if you have TV packs or etc.

When factory reset , please do tick option for wipe device data too if available.
Then try update the Unifi tv app ONLY to try if issue still persist. If necessary, do not update the the box firmware 1st.
If all above fail, just escalate back to TM and they delighted to exchange for free when they on site after they prove the channel can’t watch.

Switch on back the tvbox can load that 3 channel ald 😅.

Unifi TV 2.0 streaming quality (via app) - around 4Mbps (on default settings)

When compared to the old version (Unifi TV 1.0 - most channels are on 3.6Mbps on default settings), the new version, is streaming continuously on around 4Mbps.

To deliver more than 4Mbps or higher FPS, you need significantly more bandwidth or improved encoder settings - which can become costly when added up.

Perhaps it even requires a move to HEVC (which sadly the early generation silver/white boxes doesn't support).

It is better than the 3.6Mbps (for most channels) they had before - but yes it is still not good enough. I think HBO (main channel), Rock channel groups has a higher bitrate on the old 1.0 version.
