Yes I awake of this option n SCM channels that broadcast some HK movies really can't change because it broadcast Mandarin version only. That's why I seldom watch this channel.

Yup you're right and it's not because it's ONLY in mandarin. My unifi tv white STB still defaults in Cantonese and I can easily change language for phone/tablet apk but the unifi plus app annoyingly you can't change anything including subtitles

Can I connect the unifi stb white color box with WiFi? If can’t, is there any workaround for this?
Reason is because the router is kept in my room but the TV and the stb box is at my living room.

To watch unifi TV? Possible but you need to configure your access point to bind one SSD to vlan 500 in order for it to work

Otherwise for my case, I just used a powerline to link from my router to my bedroom tv unit

Yes you can. I tried this, using D-Link DIR-850L. Quite laggy.

Another way is using Powerline. I believe newer Powerline models work well.

no need to wait google certified.. it is already a certified google device.. hehehe.. just need to wait to be netflix certified.. at the moment, prerequisite to be netflix certified is to be certified by google.. therefore, there are chances that some device is google certified but not netflix certified..

and no credit to unifi.... 3 silver boxes, 3 white boxes, 1 black box, 100 unifitv/playtv packages, 1000 pricings...

unifitv 1.1.6 working well on sony android tv but how to change the subtitle. went to tmpoint lastweek to apply 2 new unifi plus tv. add 20ringgit to my account. but since than the technician called me to postpone the installation since the devices tak cukup. do they take back the white stb?

Currently there's no way to change the subtitles (even video quality) in the Channels menu as pressing up does nothing. You can only select the subtitles and video quality in the On Demand menu. It's weird since the phone app can do that in all 3 menus (Live TV, VOD and Catch Up).

No, I don't think they take back the white STB (mine still at the living room, while plus box is in my room).

ahh, meaning we can still use vlan 600 unifi tv services right? yeah i think they will update the apps to enable subtitles and language selection. maybe in later update.
