So good. Last time I want to request change to white box one through live chat, they refuse to change it due the hardware still fine working. I was long time unifi user since vip5 package leh...

The modified 1.1.4 apk can run on regular android. I'm using it on tx3 mini & tx3 s905x3, of course the official one won't work on them and the modified one cannot work on a rooted device too.

Hopefully someone will mod the 1.1.6 later. Anyway 1.1.4 still runs ok for me.

Ok, modified can use then but typically ATV apps used on regular isnt optimized.

Anyway.... everybody frantically looking for modified... while they keep changing, updating.

I only test The modified 1.1.4 apk yesterday on my Nvidia Shield TV 2017. Too late to try it since it asked me to update to 1.1.6 else not proceed. Hope someone mod 1.1.6.

My only problem is to find the original updated unifi playtv apk to mod.
There is no reliable site such as apkmirror or apkpure that hosting the file and I don't have a ATV device.

Anyway for those looking for latest mod, I leave it here.
Please uninstall the older version, if not you will have 2 unifi playTV (old & new) as it is different package name.

Good assumption but my account not migrated yet. Basically no problem to use 7.9.11 at all. Tried the unifi TV 1.16 (I can downloaded directly from Nvidia Shield 2017 google play store) yesterday also even installed & uninstalled as method mentioned by chinonet. Same msg "Unifi PlayTV is not yet available for this device".

Tried connect the white Unifi Box to test yesterday after so long never use. Basically the box UI still remain old version but the playtv app look very new version (assumed it updated after few times asked to restart). Image quality of the TV show much better than last time.

Anyway at the moment have to wait only till TM do something on the playtv or unifiTV app in order to enable it to run on 3rd party player.

yes, first update is slow. ufter 2nd update with mosaic, its alot better.

Tried on shield, app won't launch after install

installer come today to install unifi tv plus box

previous 1.1.4 modded worked, this 1.1.6 modded doesn't?
