My Unifi Plus Box TM installer stuck on this page also.
Already register via phone also cannot.

Now they reporting this to TM. Have to wait for few days.

if u use the free calls a lot, it makes some sense.

i get to know that my acc has been upgraded when i get this notice from the old app..

The version 2 UI browsing the channel menu sucks.

It's darn slow and too laggy, the previous version was good and much much faster. Sometimes it even hangs the unit if I pressed the up and down to browse the channels faster then it could show on the screen... Sometimes gets so fed up that I kept yelling at the UI.... 😂

The STB automatically updates the latest version, please do something about it.

Watch using android TV app may not be the best experience as well. The National Geographic channel seems to be not working in android app... 😭

anyways to get free white box? currently using the silver one faking useless can't do shit.

I rather use the silver box (provided it still can work with unifitv la)

I don't know its so laggy, makes me want to throw it away. It's working la,just need to pull longer LAN cable to router.

comments from various silver, white and black box users... so far... say about UNIFITV:

as STB, the silver one is best, best PQ when used on LAN4.

the white one was just as good, until they migrated to new UI, new app which is not so good.

the black one has poor reviews - probably becos it works on wifi or any LAN, uses a new diff app altogether, bit rate not good... PQ not so good.

but black one can install other apps... so, some people like it.


so if wifi and own apps is yr cup of tea, black one is best but u may complain the unifitv PQ no good.

Before update was very good and smooth but after auto update, it sucks till max... 😭

i doubt u can do much.

Unifi is pushing this migration to be in line with the new black box, new unifitv, new playtv app - in that direction.

sooner enough, the support with the oldest silver boxes will also stop.

i'm not in the know what their 5 year, 10 year plan is but i can speculate they are moving towards AndroidTV and wifi, i.e. no more LAN4.
