what happen after 24 months? do we still need to continue to pay?

saw this on playstore (using mibox s).. i proceed with the install... then after install.. shit lah...

this is ver1.1.1 specifically for android tv..



this image below (i presume) is the interface used in the new box..

yup.. unfortunately the app is not working on a so called "non-unifi" certified box.. and may never be i guess.. else they would rugi not being able to get user to migrate to their new package..

i saw some ppl post on fb that the box need to link via vlan500 or smthng.. prob thats why installer need to come..

v1.1.2? i saw an update for this app in playstore

thanks @myzacx for the tips.. managed to get it to run on mibox s yo! haha..

go to settings to uninstall.. first clear cache & data, then uninstall.. go to playstore and re-install.. walla..

once logged-in.. use the back button to show the left side menu.. use the down button to get the channel list.. pic quality so so lah..

pls take note that the access is not permenant.. after you exit the app, you have to repeat back the same process above to view.. but then at least you can have a feel of the app on the new box..

weird.. i tried it repeatedly and still manage to access it on my mibox s.. albeit having to uninstall and install it everytime i want to access it.. maybe can try to uninstall.. turn off the device.. then reinstall it.. once installed immediately click open (ie. launch the app from playstore once successfully installed)

quality same like the old phone/tab version.. no option in the app to set video output quality..

bro.. try calling TM to expedite your account migration.. you are still on the old platform..

weird.. by right they should assist.. if i'm not mistaken, priority is given to those who had already subscribed to the new box..

mind sharing which ver bro? is it the android tv ver? or the mobile version?

i use the mod ver.. the mod2 is for shield i guess..

the playtv@unifi version can actually be installed in any devices (non-rooted), be it phone/tablet/android box.. tapi bodoh punya version.. have to use mouse to navigate..
