Hi guys, anyone manage to get to enable the developer option on new unifi plus box. since the new unifi plus box does not allow unknown sources installation. need to enable the developer option and want to try enable unknown sources installation by adb command line

There is a app called Developer Tools which can be installed directly from Android TV playstore.
The app has shortcut to open Developer options menu even when it is disabled.

*tested working on Shield TV

hi guys.. new to this unifi plus box.. also because the box are new. now watching avengers on fox movies..

the display 3840x2160 on my tv but picture not so nice as the old stb.

just the youtube display with 4k very nice..

Most probably due to poor upscaling..
This is a known issue for Android TV coz it does not have proper upscaling capability..
When watching non-4k video, best to set display output to 1080p and let ur TV do the upscaling..

The previous set display output for the STB is 1080i 50kz. Having the same issue. Never knew the upscaling is that bad.

upscalling depends on the tv model. high end ATV have proper upscalling capabilities

Correct but 4k TV upscaling is better than ATV OS native upscaling..

ATV OS on TV(ex; sony, sharp, etc) will use manufacturer's own upscaling meanwhile tv box(ex; unifi tv plus, mibox, shield 2015/2017) will only use ATV OS native upscaling which is poor..

Does the box have IR support? How does the remote work, WiFi direct? Bluetooth?

Since I don't have the new Unifi ATV, can anyone try the Google Assistant feature? Can it detect the voice instructions directly from the device or the smartphone? Please try the Google Cast feature as well...

Can someone install this app to check for Google WideVine L1 DRM support to meet Netflix HD requirement? For 4K support, TM just needs to get Netflix 4K certification.
