I need tv box to watch youtube, facebook. No plan to watch Netflix so don't care about SD.

Anyone can recommend me local seller? Thanks.

My TX3 won’t turn on after I switch on the power supply.

Nothing shown on the tx3 mini box display

What can be done? Is the box gone d?

I rarely use it, only once or twice a month.

Please help, thanks.

Thanks for the help... it turned out to be the power adapter problem... found a similar 5V output adapter and it works again

Anyone know where to get original tx3 mini power adapter?

Trying to buy from one seller at Shopee and he told me non original can be used temporarily only.

For long term, better to get the original one.

That's just bull. Any PSU of the correct power will do. You can get better quality ones than the original.

No idea, I haven't bought a replacement PSU before. I usually just use the ones from old equipment that has died on me.

U can use old original hp charger. Make sure 5v 2a and above. Then use this cable

explanation is probably the firmware change.

tx3 mini is a high value box, no doubt.

i also bought tx5 max, which is a lot more powerful - s905x2, 4+32gb, gigabit ethernet, ac wifi.

both are working the way i want them to do.

the only thing missing is auto framerate switching and hd audio (dtshdma, ddtruehd, dtsx, atmos).

for that, i hv yet another box.

dolby atmos... do u mean online netflix streams or files for playback?

netflix, think only shieldtv can deliver in atmos.... but it cannot playback files to deliver atmos, i believe.

they are a bit old now; not sure if their latest models can do or not.

I not sure how does IPTV work, I want to get one for family usage. Does this suitable for elderly use? They could watch their own favorite show.

if u mean online video streams using android boxes like the one as per thread title, answer is NO.

not suitable for young children or old people - too much to click, navigate, maintain, etc.

stick to astro or unifitv.

Silly question here. Can I plug in 3.5mm, normal earphones to the back the box?

And just checking. What apps/method you guys use for auto shutdown? Would like to set some sort of timer so kids won't throw tantrum if it off automatically instead of me doing it.

i read on earlier post on this thread a lot of Tx3 recommendation on shopee sellers here but lots of them are SOLD OUT. I just terninated my Astro and planning to get a TVbox... my 1st. Can anyone recommend me a good TVbox and seller's link? Also, do I need to do any set up to use it or its just plug and play? Most important, I want live football.

I just got mine today, don’t know where to find all those channel as per seller say

I am at Alice UX interface couldn’t see any related apps like Astro, TV9 or something else

But In YouTube I saw people have it.

Need guidance here.
