QUOTE(Discovery Tour Bandung @ Sep 18 2015, 10:50 AM) IMO noted. thanks for the reply. i thought that Msia and Indonesia had an Asean agreement on domestic driving license. so we can drive in jogyakarta base on this link: http://www.asean.org/news/item/agreement-o...pur-9-july-1985better for you to hire a driver because more comfortable, no need for looking parking area, hop in easy, will get some information about jogja surrounding and reference for other tourism spot you can't rent a car and driving with malaysia license, you will get troubled with police when you make mistake on the road or may be you have international license, that's no problem anyhow i guess we might take your advise to either get a private cab or hire a driver. thanks |

QUOTE(leahcim @ Sep 16 2015, 10:15 PM) Guys, I'm planning to visit Jogjakarta this month end. There are tours there to bring you to borobudur and back to yogyakarta. Cheaper than renting car/hiring a driver Can anyone please advise whether is it ok to self drive form jogjakarta to borobudur or should I hire a driver? Also can I rent a car and drive with our malaysia license? And where should I rent the car? From airport? Thanks for answering. |

to those who wish to go Borobudur by public transport. once you reach Jombor and take Cemoro Tunggal/Ragil Kuning mini bus, the person will straight charge you 25,000. previously searched online many people were able to haggle 10,000. i tried but failed lol. lowest i could get was 15,000.
plus the journey using the bus wasn't THAT bad, considering it's a non-aircon bus. This post has been edited by elm0001: Oct 15 2015, 10:42 AM |

QUOTE(clamp_wl @ Oct 24 2015, 02:27 PM) Quoted in USD but can pay in rupiah. You can purchase the borobudor-prambanan combo tickets together. Will be cheaper than purchasing it separately. I think USD 30 for combo ticket. I can't remember of the validity. But I used it for 2 consecutive day. Visited Borobudor first and then Prambanan the next day. |

Has anyone booked BBdr Pramb Dieng package through a KL tour agency? I may be going four pax and feel better paying for most of it in Rm so not worry about expenses and carrying cash. |
