Parents just came back. They love the place.
They stayed in Hotel Dana in Solo. Cheap, clean & nice food.

QUOTE(zacevox @ Jan 10 2008, 06:19 PM) how is the safety at there? are they racist? jogya is famous for student and tourism, also malaysian student studied there. and foreigners from aussi also live in village, learn about java culture, dont worry about safety or racist.

Hmm, Yogya sounds good. Actually beside the borobudur, are there any interesting places, like handicraft, or beach, seafood.. How about the cost, any shopping places, any cheap hotel, anybody can share their experience here..

Get a travel guidebook before the trip is an good idea for you to plan your trip. You may get many useful informations about hotels and accommodations, tourist attractions, local foods etc. I tried Yogyakarta travel guidebook at a4trip. It really helps me alot in my Yogyakarta trip in last months. Check it out!
