hi, does anyone have experience in booking train tickets at https://www.kereta-api.co.id/?

i'm planning to book tickets from Jakarta to Jogja, and i was on this page where i have to fill in required information as below:

[attachmentid=4872444]

for the ID part, is it safe to key in passport number there?
and also how about the alamat pemesan?

thanks!
*
FYI, I walk in and bought the tix. But the tix counter is not open 24 hours, most counters open until 7pm only. so if u know u are going to walk in late at night, better book online

I filled in the borang pemesanan damn cincai only. Just put normal address also can d. Name and passport is mandatory, they check your passport when u want to enter the gate.

Once booked, print the voucher emailed to you and bring it to the train station to redeem the real ticket

Guys, I'm planning to visit Jogjakarta this month end.

Can anyone please advise whether is it ok to self drive form jogjakarta to borobudur or should I hire a driver?

Also can I rent a car and drive with our malaysia license?

And where should I rent the car? From airport?

Thanks for answering.
*
There are tours there to bring you to borobudur and back to yogyakarta. Cheaper than renting car/hiring a driver smile.gif

i cant book any accomodation in dieng ... i believe it is because most are home stay and not partner with agoda ect ...

will it be safe to book when i in jogya town ?

anyone experience before ? for 1 night stay in dieng
*
When you going? Unless it's during a major holiday, no need to prebook cos most visitors to dieng come for daytrip only. Only some opt to stay a night. If you arrive just before check-out time, no problem if you walk in. smile.gif

For further reference, you can refer to day 5 & 6 of this iti: http://gaeria84.blogspot.my/2015/07/java-i...-days.html#day5

Hi..nice blog!!

Do u or anyone familiar with the Merapi Lava Tour(those wit jeep wan)?
Lets say enter borobudur @ 6am, then proceed Merapi tour, then go Prambanan (watch Ramayana after).

Is this possible in one day?
Should go for sunrise package (expensive.dono worth it o not) in case not possible?
*
It's doable, but it'll be tiring. And Expensive. Morning in borobudur, skip mendut go to merapi, afternoon go to prambanan. Ask the tour agents there, they will have a better idea. Or if you want to DIY, rent vehicle and go thumbsup.gif

Sunrise more expensive than morning entry for borobudur, and sunrise not guaranteed.

We got two free days actually and want to see these three places. We plan rent car or hire driver so we thought can save a bit if go in one day because renting one day only laugh.gif Plus iinm if combine both temple tix in one day will get discount.
Then one more day jalan2 nearby no need car anymore.

Is it super tiring the borobudur and prambanan?
*
Honestly, 1-2 hours sightseeing in each temple is more than enough

planning my itinerary for East java.

got a few question,
1. mt merapi is tough to climb? mt kinabalu or merapi harder?
2. my air ticket is return from surabaya, so is advice for the train trip to jogyakarta?
3. do train in Indon on time? if delay, will delay how much? possible to delay by day or 12 hours?

Thanks for the advice.
*
1. Merapi is much, much harder than Kinabalu
2. Don't understand your question, are you're asking if it's advisable to take train from surabaya to jogja? If so, then yes. In indo, train is more comfortable and in a lot of cases, faster than bus
3. Their trains are quite punctual, no worries
