Employer tax free pay ptptn when start? Ask employer pay for me to enjoy tax free, I get discount, I pay back employer.

Employer rebate me with the tax free they save.

Can work?

i try to check my housing loan agreement after this if there is clause like this..hehehe

who know.. this might be precedence to other loan agreement ..

but bank  love people to have long tenure with them.. the longer u pay.. the more interest u get
*
Hahaha yeah, the bank is more interested in having a guaranteed stream of income over a fixed period.

It actually irritates them when you make early settlement, so some banks charge penalties..

part of the proposal is to allow employers tax relief if they help pay employee's ptptn loan....

by agreeing to do so (and by agreeing to pay 19% epf), is tax neutral for company....but it's beneficial for employees....there are some companies paying above the statutory 12% epf, as part of their standard employment package to attract workers....just need to calculate officially salary accordingly....
*
i dont think they will implement it. if they do, it's open up for abuse to get tax relief. i engage a student with ptptn loan, give him a salary that would not be taxed, or i could just make out a deal with him, saying the salary dont really get to you but i get your name under my payroll and i'll pay your epf socso and ptptn aka phantom employee. i get to have extra clean salary, tax exempted expenses on epf and socso, and extra tax relief from ptptn payment. gov would be the one losing money here.

Bodoh.

Those that default, then use this deduction.

Those that pay all the while following the agreed schedule, why punish them too?

that would be illegal....but you can renegotiate your package so your same total package includes the company paying your ptptn monthly repayment, and you get correspondingly less salary....tax neutral to company, tax advantage to you....

that 20% offer still valid until end of this year. the last resort what we got. settle it off. ask this PTPTPUUU to fark off..
and PH too. Say goodbye after this 5 years. I will ensure my vote will not go back to them.

Oh wow. This one lagi dasyat.

Want to get the 20% discount. Means got money to pay off everything in 1 shot but doesnt want to. Then rage when have to settle his debt faster (but actually has the money to pay 1 shot)

Let me change the analogy

You get a loan from bank in 1990 and monthly installment based on that time blr is 300
Economy crisis in 97/98 and all of sudden u have to pay 1000 but can't afford it due to 6-7 mouths to feed.

Apa susah? 14th floor la. Lel

that of course is illegal....

but a negotiated employment package is not....and contrary to what people think, that package is NOT just your salary, but can include higher epf, benefit in kinds like company car and housing, and now, ptptn loan repayment....

semua mahu salahkan PH for taking the bull by its horns. sendiri setuju hutang, kenalah bayar. selama ni BN abaikan tanggungjawab dengan membiarkan default berleluasa sampai semua jadi darah daging lari dari bayar hutang.

what did ph promised about ptptn
that's the exact reason why students vote for them
now dah jadi gov, gov kencing on those students. then kasi berak atas kepala lagi to show dominance with this repayment shit
dia jadi gov is also partly because of that promise. bukan main heboh lagi during the campaign period mainkan isu ptptn

bukan nak cakap hutang tak payah bayar
tapi nak cakap janji jangan tak dicapati

uturners are one of the people i hate the most. no principle at all. dah buat sekali, lain kali entah apa lagi yang dia buat.
in the end, sama jer dengan previous gov

yeah i know. but i doubt gov would pass the motion, if it ever get there. the one losing is them, all those potential tax revenue. and if an employee can get to the point that they are actually offered an employment package, i think their financial standing are more than enough to pay the ptptn without any issue

I think the easiest solution is to deduct their EPF account to repay the loan. Just my 2 cents.
